America’s immigration system has become cruel and inhumane. The federal government is deporting hundreds of thousands of people, and separating children from their families. At any given time, there are more than 50,000 people detained at ICE facilities-the highest number in our history. We are organizing to win comprehensive immigration justice – which includes a moratorium on deportations, humane policies for asylum seekers, the closing of detention centers, and reunification for families. By joining together, we can reject hate and divisiveness and ensure that our nation is a beacon of liberty for all.
