No on Missouri Proposition A: Right to Work Referendum

Missouri

If passed, the state would adopt Senate Bill 19 which would enact a right-to-work law to mandate that no person can be required to join a labor union or pay dues to a labor union as a condition of employment. This would diminish the collective bargaining power and political influence of public employee unions in the state. This amendment was passed by the state legislature in 2017, and must be passed by popular vote in order to become law.
