Al Granell

Running for Mayor of North Arlington
New Jersey
Election: Nov. 6, 2018

In 2008 and 2012 I had the honor of serving on the New Jersey State Democratic Committee and as a delegate. In 2016, I had the honor of being one of the Democratic Delegates to the DNC in Philly as a Bernie Sanders delegate to serve and represent New Jersey. We had much success in spreading the word on Democratic issues like Healthcare\Single Payer, Taxes in New Jersey,  Education, Women's rights, Immigration, the fight for $15, and the fight for our environment, across our nation, our state and our borough.

This year and moving forward, we are hoping for even greater success, and I hope you will join me on that journey. That is why I’m excited to announce to you that I'm running for Mayor of North Arlington in 2018

North Arlington wants and needs not just a voice in the community, but in the county and the state as well. I believe North Arlington wants someone who is finally looking out for them. This is not a Democrat, Republican or Independent issue. But North Arlington issue. We need an advocate. I have that experience in the local, county and state level.

I've long been quoted saying, "The squeaky wheel gets the oil". It's North Arlington's time.

With your help, I will be our voice. I will speak up on the issues that matter to North Arlington on all levels of government. I hope to speak up for seniors, veteran, residents, small business owners and middle-class families who have been forgotten by the political back and forth blame game campaigns that dominate our local politics. I promise, I will stay committed to fighting for North Arlington and being an advocate for NA. I will always listen to you, and I will work to enhance the quality of life here for the people of North Arlington.
