Brianna Lennon, a former Missouri Assistant Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Unit, the Deputy Director of Elections, and the first coordinator of the Election Integrity Unit in the Missouri Secretary of State’s office is running for Boone County Southern District Commissioner as a Democrat.
After graduation from the University of Missouri School of Law, Lennon joined the Consumer Protection Division in the Missouri Attorney General’s office. Brianna prosecuted companies who defrauded investors, ran unscrupulous debt settlement companies, and overcharged customers for household items. These cases resulted in thousands of dollars returned to Missouri consumers.
Later, Lennon was selected as the first coordinator of the Missouri Secretary of State’s Elections Integrity Unit. She worked closely with county governments and local election authorities to ensure that everyone eligible to vote could and that all elections were run openly and transparently.
