Donald Allan, Jr. was born and raised here in Delaware. He lives in Milton with his wife of five years, Carrie and their beautiful 3-year-old daughter, Josie. Don was born into a blue collar family. His grandfather was a union auto worker at the Chrysler plant in Newark, Delaware until the day he passed away. His father has been in the construction industry since he was 18, the rest of his family is full of firefighters, nursing assistants, road workers, fishermen, and stay-at-home moms. Like his grandfather and father, Don is a blue collar worker, he's a carpenter, and has been since he was 12 years old, when he started working weekends and summers with his Dad. His day-to-day job spans everything from sweeping floors to installing kitchen cabinets, to managing large-scale housing projects. Don knows what it's like to come home every day with bruised knuckles and aching feet. Now, he wants to take that blue collar work ethic to Delaware's State Legislature!
