Eric Williams has worked for over a decade to support progressive policy, and to protect and conserve natural resources in Omaha. He manages stormwater, and builds trails for active transportation and recreation. Eric is running for the Board of Directors of the public electric utility, the Omaha Public Power District. As a Technical Program Coordinator for the reEnergize Program, Eric worked for 3 years to build a market for residential and commercial energy evaluations and upgrades. He has received awards from the Sierra Club NE Chapter, Earth Day Omaha, Omaha Jaycees, and the Midlands Business Journal 40 Under 40. Eric demonstrates commitment to strong communities through his volunteer work. He has served in leadership roles for Nebraskans for Solar, the Omaha Biofuels Cooperative, and Green Omaha Coalition, and provides tours of the solar panels on his home and electric vehicle. Eric is dedicated to improving OPPD through his experience, leadership, and progressive vision.
