Since 2016, Jasmine has worked at the Hispanic Alliance, focusing on public safety, lead abatement issues, and women development program. Prior to that she worked at MetroHealth Cancer Care Center BREAST program as a Community Outreach worker for preventative care for breast cancer and chronic diseases. Both positions dealt with the health issues at the heart of the community. Jasmine has realized over time that the issues of health, poverty and quality of life in Ward 14 were not being properly handled. She is stepping forward and committed to rebuild the wonderfully diverse community she wants to represent by addressing:
The lack of access to healthy food, green spaces, mental health, and addiction support.
Dangerous levels of lead.
