LaDawn Stuben

Running for State Representative, District 18
Election: Aug. 28, 2018

I'm a fifth generation Arizonan and have lived in Tempe/Chandler for 18 years. My children have attended LD18 public schools since kindergarten; my daughter is a senior at Corona del Sol and my son is serving in the U.S. Navy. I'm the Executive Pastry Chef at Liberty Market in Gilbert and own a small home bakery business. As a passionate progressive activist in the Valley, you can often find me in the streets advocating for public education, Medicare for All, a living wage, environmental protection, and racial justice. For too long our State Legislature has served the interests of corporations over everyday Arizonans. This is the year we change that. As a working-class mom and activist, I'd be honored to represent my district. I want to listen to and work with the people of LD18 to make sure the legislation passed in the State House benefits them, not special interests, which is why I'm running as a Clean Elections Candidate and will never accept corporate donations.
