Lori Hawkins is a lifelong Wisconsin resident. The daughter of a firefighter and a Catholic school teacher, she grew up in a family that strived to find its place in the middle class. After teaching in Milwaukee for over a decade, she and her husband Rob moved their young family to Bristol twelve years ago. A small business owner and mother of two, Lori is involved in her community through Congregations United to Serve Humanity and other community advocacy groups. In 2017, Lori had the opportunity to lobby Congress in support of Planned Parenthood, even sitting in Rep. Paul Ryan’s Washington, D.C. office to tell her story about the incredible work they did for her and how she wouldn't have been able to start her family without the care she received. This led Lori to appearing in the CNN Healthcare Town Hall last fall. She questioned Republican leaders about reproductive healthcare, this time with both her children by her side.
