Raised in rural Arkansas, public school educated. Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas. I work as a Psychological Examiner/Therapist in Conway. I'm a mom of 2 children; ages 12 & 23. I became interested in this process during the "W" years. Lots changed Fall 2016 and I kept waiting for someone to do something. The seat I selected to run for has a direct impact on the budgeting and allocation of state funds through the oversight of Children and Youth, Education, and Public Health committees. When I was in grad school I planned to get my PhD in Clinical Psychology so I could potentially have the right credentials to help the Legislature more deeply understand the need for mental health funds, education funds, and assistance to our children and youth. I decided that this was my chance to put that plan into action, to become an advocate for groups of people I understand. I decided to enter politics in order to change the course of our state and nation.
