Serving the people of Saint Albans in the legislature and on the City Council has been an incredible honor. In Montpelier I'll strive to make our economy work for everyone, clean up our state waters and bring back the civility of compromise and good government. I returned home to Saint Albans in 2008 and ran Cosmic Bakery on Main Street for six years. I met my wife, Stephanie and bought a house on Bank Street where we are raising our daughter Molly. As a small business owner I learned how important it is (and how hard it could be for a small business) to pay a decent wage and afford benefits like healthcare. Since 2013 I've worked at Suncommon, the largest installer of residential and community solar in Vermont. I'd like to bring the kind of innovation and results-based thinking I've learned there to improve state government. As a legislator I supported working people by protecting collective bargaining rights, increasing the minimum wage and working toward universal healthcare.
