Noelia is a San Mateo native and graduate of the San Mateo/Foster City School District. Her teachers at Park School, Abbott Middle, and San Mateo High provided educational opportunities that deeply impacted and empowered me. These experiences inspired her to run for School Board, so that all students can reach their potential.
She has first-hand experience with public schools as an involved parent and PTA-member. Her six year old son attends Fiesta Gardens International School, where Noelia serve as the Padres Unidos/PTA Liaison.
She is a social worker by trade and has dedicated her career to working with foster youth and people with disabilities. Noelia value diversity in her friendships and community, and enjoys working with people from all walks of life. As the child of immigrants, she is bi-lingual and multicultural. She brings a unique perspective that will advance education equity and community engagement to better our schools and neighborhoods.
Noelia Corzo will prioritize equity in education, improve partnerships and communication with teachers, provide strong leadership and promote community-based collaboration to support a successful parcel tax campaign that protects our school funding.
