Running for State Representative
Patricia has strong Irish working-class roots and has always been deeply involved in community organizing and community-building efforts. She moved to Alaska in 1997 from Burlington, Vermont to work with Tribal Governments in Northwest Alaska, and in 2001 she moved to the valley where she has continued to work for Alaska Native tribes. She is employed at the Mat-Su Regional Urgent Care Center, and has served in a number of public service capacities, including emergency medical services.
Patricia wants to transition away from an oil-driven budget and corporate control, reform education by returning local control to schools, improve child care and develop infrastructure, jobs, broadband internet and local energy solutions.
