Robyn Porter

Running for State Representative
Election: Aug. 9, 2016
Robyn is a dedicated community activist and single mother of two adult children. Her son, who was once incarcerated, has since established his own business. Her daughter is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport and was on the President’s List. Robyn holds an Associate's degree in General Studies from Gateway Community College and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Charter Oak State College. In addition, she completed the Bill Graustein Memorial Fund's Community Leadership Program (CLP), served as co-chair on the Steering Committee for the Newhallville Community Resilience Team, and served as a Ward Committee member where she worked closely with her Alderman on various issues and community events. She has also contributed her time to Aldermanic, Mayoral, and Senatorial campaigns in various capacities.
