In 2013, I retired from a 35-year career teaching US History and Government. I then became a full-time activist and organizer. The past two years have been the most exciting and fulfilling years of my activist career. I started 2016 as a field organizer for the Bernie Sanders Campaign in Ohio. I then traveled to New York and Pennsylvania to work for the campaign in those primaries. In the summer of 2016, I was a proud Sanders delegate at the Democratic National Convention. My next venture was to create an organization called the Cuyahoga County Progressive Caucus, which grew out of what had originally been called Northeast Ohio for Bernie Sanders. I have been its Political Director and have managed it since its inception. Today we are the largest progressive organization in Northeast Ohio with over 3300 active members and an email contact group of over 12,000. We are proud to be Northeast Ohio’s "Our Revolution" affiliate.
