/ Thomas Nelson
Running for US Representative
Tom Nelson’s Northeast Wisconsin roots run deep – his father is a Lutheran Pastor who established churches in Combined Locks and Sherwood more than 30 years ago. Tom has always been active in our community: knocking on 80,000 doors, attending countless parades and community events, volunteering for charities like Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Kaukauna, attending bible study at St. Therese Church, and raising his two young children in the Fox Valley. Tom’s commitment to his community is why he has dedicated his life to public service through his time in the State Legislature and as the Outagamie County Executive. As the Outagamie County Executive, he has worked with both Democrats and Republicans to balance the budget for the past five years. Tom has also protected seniors by championing SeniorCare and focused on creating jobs by expanding the Appleton International Airport and supporting a regional economic development partnership. Now, Tom is running for Congress because Washington is broken. Just as he has done throughout his entire career, he will always put the people of Northeast Wisconsin first. He will work with anyone, regardless of political party, who shares his dedication to community service, efficient government and a focus on job creation through education, infrastructure development and job training.
