Tim Ashe

Running for State Senate
In July 2004, Tim Ashe successfully sought a seat on the Burlington City Council. He won re-election in 2005 and 2007. The youngest member of the Council when elected, Tim quickly established himself as a stalwart supporter of policies to improve and increase the supply of affordable homeownership and rental housing in Burlington. In four years, he was pro-active in nearly every key municipal area. In 2008, Tim was elected to the Vermont State Senate and re-elected in 2010, 2012, and 2014. Now in his fourth term, Tim has sponsored bills and been a leader on issues ranging from Marriage Equality, to health care reform, to protecting middle-class taxpayers.
