Tristan Rader

Running for Lakewood City Council At-Large
Election: Nov. 7, 2017

"Lakewood at its best is a place that welcomes and connects new and old residents, alike, to something bigger. I’m running for city council at-large to deliver on that promise of welcome, with practical hands-on experience.

I have managed successful start-ups and provided community outreach for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and many volunteer organizations. I have organized diverse communities, as a local field director for Senator Bernie Sanders, and as co-founder of the Cuyahoga County Progressive Caucus here in Lakewood. I’m ready to embrace the challenge of representing all of our city’s people.

As a council member, I will push back against privatization, and defend first-rate public services and good local jobs. I will work to ensure that Lakewood promotes a diverse economy, and maintains a diverse housing stock with places for all age groups and income levels. I will champion our community spaces and parks."
