Together we’re building a movement.

More than 600 local groups in 49 states and 9 countries are fighting to elect progressive champions, advocate for the People’s Platform, and build local power–and we’re winning.

From school board to Congress, local groups are electing progressive champions up and down the ballot, all without big money or big connections. Group-supported candidates like Ben Jealous, Alexandria Ocasio-CortezIlhan OmarRashida TlaibJames Thompson, and Randall Woodfin have bucked the political establishment to win massive upsets all across the country.

Local groups are organizing at the grasroots level to pass policies through referendum from automatic voter registration in Alaska to expanding health care in Maine and Oregon. In Missouri, groups successfully passed a $15 minimum wage in Kansas City and organized to block a statewide ballot measure which would have undercut unions and hurt working families.

Our Revolution groups and members are also advocating for progressive issues and organizing for good. In the wakes of hurricanes Maria and Harvey, Our Revolution members came together to raise money and supplies for Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Houston.

Our Revolution has also led the effort to reform the Democratic Party, successfully limiting the power of superdelegates through the Unity Reform Commision, and we’ve worked to put real progressives in power in local parties across the country through our Transform the Party efforts.

Together we’re winning - here’s how:

It all starts with the People’s Platform.

The People’s Platform is the foundation of our movement and the work of local groups across the country to enact progressive policies that put people over profit

Medicare for All

Education for All

Voting for All

Women's Rights for All

Prosperity for All

Justice for All

Immigrant Rights for All

Climate Justice for All

Local groups building local power.

Our Revolution has quickly grown to 600 local groups in 49 states and 9 countries in just two years–and more groups are organizing every day.

Our Revolution Maryland has successfully mobilized in support of the Montgomery County Council bill to raise the minimum wage to $15.

Our Revolution Metro Denver has crafted a custom endorsement process and has helped elect 10 local leaders.

Our Revolution Texas has 11 democratically-elected regional committees covering all areas of the state organizing to elect progressive candidates from school board to Congress.

And Our Revolution Watsonville has met for 81 consecutive Saturdays to organize for local change.

This is just a small snapshot of the hundreds of local groups achieving real change across the world.

Our local groups are electing new progressive champions.

All across the country, local groups are electing new progressive champions, all without big money or big connections, and many of whom have never run for office before.

In VirginiaLee CarterJennifer Carrol Foy, and Elizabeth Guzman fought and won Medicaid expansion. In Congress, Pramila Jayapal co-founded the Medicare for All Caucus. In Stockton, California, Mayor Michael Tubbs is working to provide a basic income to low-income residents. In Alabama, Mayor Randall Woodfin has named Birmingham’s first LGBTQ liaison. In Delaware, Senator Stephanie Hansen has convened the Statewide Ecological Task Force to reverse the trend of local plant and animal species extinction.

These are just a few examples of candidates taking real action to enact the People’s Platform –and with over 60 candidates heading to the general election in November, we’re about to have a lot more.
