Jessie Lopez for California State Assembly District 68

A proven champion for working families, Jessie Lopez is ready to take the fight from Santa Ana City Hall to Sacramento.

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Jessie Lopez for California State Assembly District 68.

Born and raised in Santa Ana and the daughter of immigrants, Jessie Lopez knows firsthand what working families are up against. Jessie experienced housing and food insecurity while working two jobs to put herself through college. She became the first person in her family to graduate from college—and she has carried that determination into a career of fighting for her community.

Jessie stepped up to run for Santa Ana City Council because she saw a need for leadership that would put working families first. First elected in 2020 and reelected in 2024, she has built a record of delivering results—from expanding affordable housing and addressing homelessness to protecting public land and improving water quality.

Her record is exactly the kind of people-powered leadership California needs in the State Assembly.

Jessie helped pass Santa Ana’s Rent Stabilization and Just Cause Eviction Ordinance and helped secure $24 million for affordable housing. She established a Police Oversight Commission, championed anti-corruption policies, and helped secure funding for climate action, lead remediation, parks, and neighborhood improvements.

And she isn’t finished.

In the State Assembly, Jessie will fight to make housing affordable, address homelessness, expand economic opportunity and fair wages, invest in public safety and accountability, protect clean air and water, and improve quality of life for working families.

Jessie has also made clear that she will stand up for immigrant families and push back against attacks on the communities she represents. Her campaign describes her as a leader who puts community first—and her record shows that she doesn’t just talk about change; she fights to deliver it.

This is a race about what kind of leadership working people deserve: someone who understands the challenges of paying rent, earning a fair wage, accessing quality public services, and building a better future because she has lived those challenges herself.

Jessie Lopez has the experience, the courage, and the record to bring that fight to Sacramento.

Our Revolution is proud to stand with Jessie Lopez for California State Assembly—and we urge voters in AD-68 to join us in sending a fearless champion for working families to Sacramento.
