Trump and his billionaire backers are trying to push through a budget that would slash Medicaid in order to pay for massive tax cuts for the wealthy.
We’re keeping the heat on GOP Reps, with our Citizen Action Team members confronting many of them in the halls of Congress. For example, David Schweikert, who has 150,000 constituents who rely on Medicaid, and Rob Bresnahan, who has more than 250,000 — a quarter of his constituents!

These Republicans are getting nervous – and our direct organizing paired with Bernie’s rallies in key red districts turned up the heat — leading 12 GOP Congress members to publicly denounce the Medicaid cuts.
