Bold Slate of Progressives in Colorado

Colorado has become a critical battleground for the future of the Democratic Party — and Our Revolution is proud to endorse a new generation of progressive leaders fighting for working people, democracy, affordability, and real accountability from the grassroots up.

From Congress to the State Legislature to local offices, these candidates represent a people-powered vision for Colorado rooted in economic justice, democracy reform, healthcare, labor rights, and public investment.

U.S. Senate

Julie Gonzales for U.S. Senate
Colorado State Senator Julie Gonzales is running an unapologetically progressive campaign focused on affordability, universal healthcare, voting rights, housing, immigrant protections, and challenging billionaire influence in politics. Her campaign calls for “putting power back in the hands of the people.”

Secretary of State

Amanda Gonzalez for Secretary of State
Amanda Gonzalez is a former non-profit executive and current Jefferson County Clerk focused on protecting voting rights and defending democracy. Her campaign emphasizes election integrity, expanding access to the ballot, and ensuring Colorado elections remain in the hands of voters — not partisan extremists.

U.S. Congress

Melat Kiros for Congress (CO-01)
Melat Kiros is a lawyer, organizer, and first-generation Ethiopian-American running for a new generation of leadership in Congress. She’s campaigning on Medicare for All, universal childcare, housing as a human right, and rejecting corporate PAC money in one of the country’s most progressive districts.

Colorado State Legislature

Chela Irlando Garcia for State Senate (SD-34) – running to fight for working families, stronger public schools, and affordable communities in Colorado.

Iris Halpern for State House (HD-6) – focused on equity, affordability, and expanding opportunity for working Coloradans.

Neal Walia for State House (HD-9) – an organizer campaigning on labor rights, housing justice, and economic democracy.

Junie Joseph for State House (HD-10) – a progressive legislator and immigrant rights advocate fighting for affordable healthcare, reproductive freedom, and working families.

Steph Vigil for State House (HD-16) – a labor-backed progressive championing workers’ rights, public education, and economic justice.

Anil Pesaramelli for State House (HD-19) – campaigning to expand healthcare access, affordability, and public investment for Colorado families.

Kenny Van Nguyen for State House (HD-33) – a community organizer and public servant focused on equity, affordability, and immigrant communities.

Other Key Races

Kubs Lalchandani for University of Colorado Board of Regents (District 2) – fighting for affordable higher education, student opportunity, and accessible public universities.

Michael Farrington for RTD Board District K – running to strengthen public transit, improve accessibility, and build sustainable infrastructure for working communities in Adams County.

At a time when corporate interests and political insiders are trying to maintain the status quo, these candidates are building grassroots movements rooted in people power and progressive change.

This is how we build lasting progressive power in Colorado: from Congress to state legislatures to local governing boards.

When we organize, we win. ✊
