As a San Francisco Supervisor, Connie has been a consistent advocate for working people, fighting to keep families in their neighborhoods, protect public services, and invest in affordable housing. Her campaign for Congress is built on the belief that every family deserves economic security, safe communities, and a government willing to take on the affordability crisis.
Connie knows firsthand the opportunities America can provide and has spent her life giving back to the community that welcomed her, her mother, and brother when they immigrated from Hong Kong in 1989.
Her campaign is rooted in ensuring that every child, worker, senior, and immigrant has the opportunity to succeed. She believes Congress must lower costs for families, expand affordable housing, protect Social Security and Medicare, strengthen public education, and defend immigrant communities.
Connie is also committed to making housing more affordable by securing federal investment to build more housing. She argues that relying solely on the private market has failed to address the housing crisis and believes government must play a stronger role in ensuring everyone has access to an affordable place to live.
