Aisha Wahab for Congress (CA-14)

Our Revolution is proud to endorse State Senator Aisha Wahab for Congress in California’s 14th District — a bold, movement leader who has spent her career fighting for working people, tenants, and communities too often left behind.

Aisha Wahab’s story is one of resilience and purpose. Born to Afghan refugees and raised in the East Bay after time in foster care, she understands firsthand the struggles that so many families face. That lived experience has shaped her commitment to building an economy that works for everyone — not just the wealthy and well-connected.

In the California State Senate, Wahab has been a leading voice for affordability, workers’ rights, and housing justice. She has taken on powerful interests to expand tenant protections, lower costs for working families, and push back against corporate-driven policies that put profit over people.

Wahab’s progressive leadership is backed by a strong record. She has earned top marks from organizations like Planned Parenthood, labor unions, environmental groups, and healthcare advocates — reflecting her unwavering support for reproductive freedom, workers’ rights, climate action, and expanding access to care.

She has also broken barriers as the first Muslim and Afghan American elected to the California State Senate, bringing new voices and perspectives into government while fighting to make it more responsive to the people it serves.

At a time when too many politicians are beholden to corporate donors and political insiders, Aisha Wahab has consistently stood with working-class communities — taking on corporate monopolies, advocating for economic justice, and pushing for policies that center human dignity.

Now, she’s bringing that same fight to Congress.

California’s 14th District deserves a representative who will stand up to entrenched power, fight for affordability and justice, and deliver real results for working families. Aisha Wahab has the experience, the values, and the movement behind her to do just that.
