✊ A Champion for People and Justice

Drew isn’t just talking about progressive change — he’s delivering it. As a longtime community organizer and local leader, Drew has been at the forefront of efforts to make Kalamazoo a more just, sustainable, and equitable place for everyone. His victory proves that when we organize around bold ideas, people power wins.

Fighting for Affordable Housing: Drew has led the charge for housing justice — helping secure a new low-barrier shelter now under construction, fighting for zoning reform, and advancing tenant protections so every Kalamazoo resident has a safe place to call home.

Building Community-Centered Public Safety: Drew knows true safety goes beyond policing. His plan emphasizes mental health response teams, violence prevention, and neighborhood investment that strengthen trust and keep communities safe.

Growing a Fairer Economy: Drew is committed to building a fair economy that serves everyone — supporting small businesses, creating good jobs, and ensuring investments reach historically underserved neighborhoods.

A Greener, Healthier Kalamazoo: A proven climate advocate, Drew is expanding clean energy, green infrastructure, and protecting natural spaces — guided by science and community voices every step of the way.

🌹 A Movement for the Many

In Pennsylvania, we know that power is often centralized in statehouses and local boards long before it reaches Congress. That’s why this slate matters. Each of these candidates brings:

Victory for Justice: Our Revolution Celebrates Larry Krasner’s Win

By Past-Endorsement

We’re proud to celebrate the re-election of Larry Krasner as Philadelphia’s District Attorney. The progressive hero secured his third Democratic primary win, winning over 60% of the vote and all but ensuring another four years of reform-focused leadership.

Why This Win Matters

Since taking office in 2018, Krasner has consistently used his position to pursue justice—not prosecution:

  • Fewer incarcerations, safer communities: Under his leadership, Philadelphia’s jail population has been slashed nearly in half, while crime rates continue to fall.
  • Prosecutorial reform in action: Krasner’s office has eliminated cash bail for many nonviolent offenses, dropped minor felony charges like marijuana possession, and aggressively prosecuted police misconduct.
  • Accountability through innovation: His DA’s office created a Conviction Integrity Unit that has exonerated dozens of innocent people. It also launched a unit to tackle quality-of-life issues—including prosecuting dumping of household waste and tires.

Standing Strong Against the Right-Wing Backlash

Krasner’s victory came despite targeted attacks from Republicans and former President Trump—and after surviving a failed impeachment attempt by state lawmakers.

His campaign drew strength from small-dollar donations and grassroots organizing. In his victory speech, Krasner proclaimed:

“They can come for Philly, but I’m not backing down.”

This Victory is a Win for Progressive Prosecution

While reform prosecutors in other cities have lost ground under conservative pressure, Krasner’s win—driven by strong support among Black voters and progressives—shows that people power still works. It’s a reminder that local organizing and community engagement can beat back authoritarian and punitive agendas.

What Comes Next?

Krasner will enter the general election unopposed—giving him the green light to keep building a more equitable, accountable justice system in Philadelphia.

This victory is a testament to all of us: when we organize, we win.

Congratulations, Larry Krasner. Keep leading the fight for real justice.

DONAVAN MCKINNEY FOR CONGRESS IN MI-13

By Homepage2, Past-Endorsement

Our Revolution is proud to endorse

Donavan McKinney

for Congress in Michigan’s 13th District!

Born and raised in Detroit, Donavan knows firsthand the challenges working-class families face. He’s lived them—and he’s spent his life fighting back. In the State House, he’s been a leading voice on the frontlines of environmental justice, voting rights, and economic equity. Now he’s ready to take that fight to Washington.

Donavan joined Our Revolution’s national organizing call and told us his story:

“I grew up poor, moving over 13 times in Detroit’s 13th district. I didn’t know where my next meal was coming from,” he said. “In 10th grade, my mom was crying because another young black kid was murdered in our neighborhood. She looked me in the eyes and said, ‘You have to survive.’ That moment made me realize we need to fight for a better community.”

As a state representative, Donovan has stood up to oligarchic influence:

“I’ve taken on the utilities companies and told them I won’t vote for something to give them more money while we sit in the dark. I’ve taken on contractors that were gouging our state… we passed one of the strongest ethics packages in the state’s history.”

This is what real progressive leadership looks like: someone who doesn’t just talk about justice, but delivers it. Someone rooted in the community, who will bring the voices of everyday people to the halls of Congress.

With your support, Donavan McKinney can help build the people-powered movement we need to take back our democracy and deliver for working families.

Let’s win MI-13—for the people.
