Keith Ellison for Minnesota Attorney General

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Keith Ellison for re-election as Minnesota Attorney General.

Keith Ellison has spent his career standing up for working people, protecting fundamental freedoms, and holding powerful interests accountable. As Minnesota’s Attorney General, he has embraced the role of “the People’s Lawyer,” fighting every day to help Minnesotans afford their lives and live with dignity, safety, and respect.

Fighting for the People

Keith believes government should stand with ordinary people—not corporations or those who abuse their power.

As Attorney General, he has worked to protect consumers, lower healthcare costs, defend reproductive freedom, safeguard access to gender-affirming care, fight corporate misconduct, and ensure Minnesotans receive the justice and protections they deserve. His campaign is centered on helping families afford the essentials while defending the rights and freedoms that every community deserves.

Standing Up to Powerful Interests

Keith has never been afraid to take on the toughest fights — like prosecuting Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd.

His campaign highlights his leadership defending Minnesotans from unlawful actions by the Trump administration because, as he says, no one is above the law. He has fought to protect voting rights, defend reproductive freedom, and stand up for communities facing discrimination and attacks on their civil rights.

That fearless commitment to justice is exactly the kind of leadership Our Revolution believes our movement needs.

Delivering Results for Minnesota

Keith has shown that progressive leadership means producing real results for working families.

As Attorney General, he has secured affordable insulin for Minnesotans, defended access to reduced-cost healthcare, recovered millions through opioid settlements, fought Medicaid fraud, challenged corporate abuses, protected consumers, and taken action against companies putting public safety at risk.

His work demonstrates that government can improve people’s lives when it is willing to confront powerful interests on behalf of the public.

A Lifetime of Public Service

Before serving as Attorney General, Keith represented Minnesotans in Congress for 12 years, where he championed consumer protections, workers’ rights, environmental justice, and civil rights. Earlier, he served in the Minnesota House of Representatives and spent 16 years as a civil rights and criminal defense attorney, including leading the Legal Rights Center.

Throughout his career, Keith has remained committed to ensuring that everybody counts and everybody matters.

Together, let’s re-elect a proven progressive leader who will continue standing up for consumers, defending civil rights, and making government work for the people.

When we organize, we win.
