Sarah Rascón for California State Senate (SD-26)
Our Revolution is backing Sarah Rascón for California State Senate District 26 — an environmental advocate running a bold progressive campaign rooted in working families, environmental justice, and expanding opportunity in communities too often left behind.
Sarah was raised in El Sereno by her immigrant grandmother and became the first person in her family to graduate from college. She has spent her career expanding opportunities for young people and working to protect parks, open spaces, and the water communities depend on.
She served as an East Area Planning Commissioner, giving her firsthand experience with the decisions that shape development in Los Angeles communities.
Her campaign puts environmental and social justice at the center — connecting the fight for a livable planet with the fight for economic opportunity and stronger communities. Sarah says she will stand up to Big Tech and billion-dollar corporations when their interests threaten communities’ water, power, and local voice.
She is also fighting for housing access and affordability, healthcare, corporate accountability, immigrant communities, and an economy that gives working families a real chance to get ahead. Sarah’s workforce agenda calls for expanding apprenticeships and community college programs while protecting good-paying union jobs and strengthening organized labor.
Sarah is running a grassroots campaign, and as a state senator would prioritize the voices of working families and underserved communities.
And voting starts soon. California counties begin mailing ballots and early voting begins Oct. 5, with the voting period running through Election Day, November 3. The first vote centers in Voter’s Choice Act counties open Oct. 24, and early in-person voting locations will be available statewide on Saturday, Oct. 31.
We are proud to endorse Sarah Rascón for California State Senate District 26.
When we organize, we win.
