Putting Trump’s Big Ugly Bill on the Ropes

By Uncategorized

From Maine to Mississippi, Alaska to Florida, Our Revolution is mobilizing across the country to stop Trump’s “Big Ugly Bill” — a devastating attack on working families that would gut Medicaid, slash SNAP, and pour billions into deportation and corporate handouts.

We’re putting targeted pressure on key Senate Republicans like Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Thom Tillis, and others — making sure they hear directly from their constituents through our virtual lobby visits. In state after state, real people are joining our DC team on Zoom to speak face-to-face with top Senate staff and demand:

No cuts to Medicaid. No cuts to SNAP. No cuts to rural hospitals.

“My husband has diabetes. If they close our clinic, we’d have to drive two hours to see a doctor. We’re growing a bigger garden this year—just in case they cut more.”
Randy, Alaska

“I deliver mail to a 99-year-old vet who depends on me for his meds. I’m fighting so Social Security is still there when I need it, too.”
Patricia, Mississippi

This is people-powered resistance — and it’s working. With pressure mounting in the Senate, we’re now just three GOP votes away from stopping this cruel legislation dead in its tracks.

In just the past few weeks alone, we’ve brought grassroots voices into meetings with Senate offices in Oklahoma, North Carolina, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa, and more. These stories are impossible to ignore — and they’re shaking loose cracks in Republican support for Trump’s toxic budget.

Now is the time to turn up the heat.

🗣️ Add your voice and join the fight:

Donate today to Stop Trump's extremist agenda and Protect Medicaid!

This is what people-powered resistance looks like — and we can only do it because of our movement and our activists taking a stand.

BREAKING: Zohran Mamdani Leads in NYC Mayoral Primary — A Win for the Progressive Movement

By Uncategorized

We’re thrilled to celebrate a major people-powered victory: Zohran Kwame Mamdani has won the first round of New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary, defeating disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo and taking the lead in the race to become the city’s next mayor.

With nearly 44% of first-choice votes, Zohran’s commanding lead is a direct result of tireless grassroots organizing, a bold progressive vision, and deep support from working-class communities across all five boroughs. Backed by Our Revolution, Senator Bernie Sanders, and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Zohran ran on a transformative agenda: free public transit, universal childcare, rent relief, city-owned grocery stores, and taxing the ultra-wealthy to pay for it.

This is more than a political victory — it’s a clear rejection of oligarch politics and a powerful step toward a New York City that puts people before profit.

“This campaign is proving that a united grassroots can take on billionaires and win,” said Our Revolution Executive Director Joseph Geevarghese. “We’re proud to have stood with Zohran from the beginning — and we’re ready to finish this fight.”

Stay tuned as ranked-choice tabulations continue — but for now, we celebrate a major milestone for the progressive movement in the heart of America’s largest city.

Let’s keep organizing. Let’s keep winning.

BRAD LANDER FOR NYC MAYOR

By Uncategorized
Our Revolution is proud to endorse Zohran Kwame Mamdani and Brad Lander in the race for New York City Mayor! Ranked choice voting means our movement is rallying behind BOTH of these champions who can defeat the Cuomo machine once and for all.
Brad Lander, New York City Comptroller, has long been a progressive force for good in city politics. His platform promises to tackle New York’s housing crisis, end street homelessness, invest in green infrastructure, deliver universal after-school care, and restore integrity to City Hall by cracking down on corruption. Brad’s leadership is key to making sure the next mayor of New York delivers for working families—not billionaire developers or corporate lobbyists.
Zohran Kwame Mamdani served in the Assembly and has earned the backing of Senator Bernie Sanders and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for his bold vision to make NYC a city for the many, not the few. He’s fighting for free public transit, rent relief, universal childcare, and city-owned grocery stores — all paid for by making the ultra-rich pay their fair share. As Zohran put it:
“Cuomo’s campaign is a house of cards. The two strongest progressive campaigns can topple it together, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.”
This race isn’t just about one office—it’s about breaking the grip of oligarchy and rejecting Andrew Cuomo’s billionaire-backed comeback bid.
Rank Zohran Mamdani #1 and Brad Lander #2 on your ballot—and leave Cuomo off completely.

No Kings Day of Defiance: 5 Million Rise Up Nationwide

By Uncategorized

This past Saturday, history was made.

In an unprecedented show of people power, more than 5 million Americans took to the streets in cities, towns, and communities across the country to send a simple, unmistakable message: We reject kings. We reject oligarchs. We reject authoritarian rule in America.

From bustling urban centers to rural crossroads, everyday people stood shoulder to shoulder to defend democracy against the creeping threats of corporate greed, billionaire control, and the lawless ambitions of Donald Trump and his allies.

Our Revolution proudly organized events at 56 locations nationwide—from New York to Santa Rosa, from Houston to St. Paul—helping to anchor this national outpouring of outrage and resolve. Our members, partners, and supporters rallied under the banner of “No Kings”, refusing to let public resources, federal agencies, and the military be hijacked by a would-be strongman clinging to power.

While Trump tries to play emperor with taxpayer-funded troops and ICE raids in America’s cities, the people reminded him—and the world—that this country belongs to all of us, not to a handful of oligarchs or corporate kings.

The size, spirit, and scope of this mobilization proves what we have long known: the movement to defend democracy and economic justice is growing stronger, louder, and more unstoppable by the day.

This was only the beginning. Our Revolution is committed to continuing this fight—organizing, educating, and mobilizing every day to stop Trump’s assault on democracy, stop the billionaire class from ruling our lives, and build a government that serves the many, not the few.

As we chanted across the nation:
“No Kings. No Oligarchs. Only the People.”

If you stood with us this weekend—or if you wish you had—join us. This movement belongs to you. And it’s only just getting started.

👉 Plug in with our team and help fuel the next wave of action.

NO KINGS DAY OF DEFIANCE

By Uncategorized

On June 14th, Trump will celebrate his birthday with an authoritarian spectacle, with tanks rolling through the streets of our nation’s capital.

It will be a horrifying display fitting of a dictator, but our movement is rising up to drown it out and show Trump who’s really in charge of this democracy — we the people!

The next MASSIVE nationwide protest is just ONE WEEK AWAY with 1,475 events coming together for No Kings Day of Defiance on June 14th.

We will be showing up in force from cities to small towns — from Philly and Los Angeles to Bowie, MD, and Steamboat Springs, CO — we will be all across the nation, demonstrating the strength of the opposition against Trump and his regime.

Organizing protests coast to coast isn’t easy, and we rely on the grassroots to power these actions, from boots on the ground to setting up sound systems and providing transportation.

ADELITA GRIJALVA FOR U.S. CONGRESS AZ-7

By AZ, Endorsement, Uncategorized

Congratulations to Adelita Grijalva on her big Democratic primary victory in Arizona’s 7th Congressional District!

We are proud to stand with a champion who’s rooted in community, committed to justice, and ready to take on corporate power in Washington — onward to November!

This is an exciting victory for Tucson City Councilmember Adelita Grijalva in Arizona’s 7th—a seat long held by her father, Rep. Raúl Grijalva, a founding co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and a proudly endorsed Our Revolution candidate.

“Adelita Grijalva has spent her life fighting for public education, healthcare for all, and immigrant justice—and tonight, voters affirmed her deep connection to this district and her proven commitment to the issues that matter to working people,” said Joseph Geevarghese, Executive Director of Our Revolution.“It’s clear voters want someone who understands the needs of this community and will carry forward a legacy of bold, values-driven leadership in Congress.”

This primary made clear what grassroots voters have been calling for: a leader willing to fight unapologetically for healthcare, climate justice, reproductive freedom, and an economy that works for everyday people. Adelita met the moment with clarity, consistency, and a commitment to bold ideas rooted in the realities of working-class Arizonans.

When we organize, we win!

TROY JACKSON FOR GOVERNOR MAINE

By Endorsement, ME, Uncategorized

We’re proud to announce that Our Revolution is endorsing Troy Jackson for Governor of Maine.

Troy isn’t your typical politician—he’s a logger, union leader, and lifelong fighter for working people. Raised in the North Woods of Maine, Troy knows firsthand the struggles rural Mainers face because he’s lived them. He’s stood shoulder to shoulder with workers on the picket line and never backed down from the corporate elites and political insiders who try to block progress.

As President of the Maine Senate, Troy has delivered real results: expanding access to health care, lowering prescription drug prices, fighting for paid family leave, and protecting collective bargaining rights. He’s helped make Maine a leader on climate jobs and renewable energy, while always putting working families—not wealthy donors—first.

That’s why Senator Bernie Sanders is endorsing Troy, too.

“Troy knows what’s going on with the working class of Maine because he’s part of that working class,” Bernie said. “We need candidates who, unequivocally, will stand with working-class families against the enormous power of the monied interests.”

With Trump and the billionaire class trying to tighten their grip on power, we need governors like Troy Jackson—leaders who aren’t bought, who won’t sell out, and who are ready to fight for the rest of us.

Together, we can elect a governor who works for the people—not the powerful.
