Evan Menist for New York Senate District 39

By ALL, Endorsement, NY

Evan Menist for New York State Senate

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Evan Menist for New York State Senate in District 39.

Evan is running because he believes our political and economic systems are too often shaped by billionaires and corporate special interests instead of working people and families. His campaign is focused on putting power back in the hands of everyday people and building a Hudson Valley where everyone has a fair chance to thrive.

What stands out about Evan is that he brings together experience in local government, public policy, and community leadership with a clear commitment to economic justice.

A longtime resident of Poughkeepsie, Evan worked his way through school while holding multiple jobs, including as an IT technician, bartender, barback, and security staff member. He later earned a Master of Public Administration while continuing to work full-time.

Evan currently serves on the Poughkeepsie Common Council, where he has fought for tenant protections, housing affordability, tax relief for seniors, government accountability, and sustainable development. He has also worked as a policy researcher and urban planner, helping communities across the Hudson Valley address housing, infrastructure, and economic development challenges.

Today, Evan serves as Co-Executive Director of the Poughkeepsie Farm Project, a nonprofit dedicated to feeding families, educating youth, and building a more resilient regional food system.

His campaign is centered on a bold vision for the Mid-Hudson Valley.

Evan supports universal healthcare through the New York Health Act, universal childcare, and community housing. He argues that these policies can reduce structural inequities, strengthen working families, and ensure that everyone—regardless of background—has the opportunity to succeed.

He is also a strong advocate for worker and union power. Coming from a union family and relying on union healthcare through his wife, Evan has pledged to use the visibility of elected office to support union organizing drives, contract campaigns, and strikes.

At a moment when too many New Yorkers are struggling with housing costs, healthcare expenses, and economic insecurity, Evan is focused on building a government that works for regular people—not wealthy interests.

That’s why Our Revolution is proud to support Evan Menist for State Senate.

When we organize, we win.

Adam Bojak for NY State Assembly (AD-149)

By ALL, Endorsement, NY

Adam Bojak for NY State Assembly (AD-149)

Our Revolution is proud to join Bernie Sanders in endorsing Adam Bojak for NY State Assembly in District 149, who’s running on a bold vision for a healthier, housed, and more affordable Western New York.

Adam has represented everyday New Yorkers as a Family Court and housing rights attorney — helping tenants facing housing disputes, providing free legal services and advice to people dealing with housing problems, and working with families navigating tough challenges.

Now, Adam is bringing that experience to the fight for systemic change.

Adam believes Albany should do more to stand up to corporate greed and ensure that every New Yorker can live a stable and dignified life.

His campaign is built around a simple idea: when our needs are met and the rich pay their fair share, we can build stronger communities for generations to come.

That means fighting for affordable housing and publicly owned social housing. It means protecting tenants, preventing unjust evictions, and stopping vulnerable homeowners from losing their homes to property tax foreclosures. As a housing rights attorney, Adam has seen these challenges firsthand—and he’s running to do something about them.

Adam is also a champion for universal healthcare. He supports the New York Health Act and believes every New Yorker should have healthcare free at the point of service. He is committed to protecting Medicaid, defending reproductive rights, and ensuring access to gender-affirming care.

On labor, Adam recognizes that workers and unions are the backbone of our economy. He’s fighting to strengthen worker protections and address the growing threat of workplace surveillance and unchecked AI systems that can be used against workers.

He also supports investments in public infrastructure, strong public schools, and public services that improve people’s lives—not policies that prioritize corporate profits over community needs.

That’s why Adam Bojak has earned the support of Our Revolution, Bernie Sanders, organized labor, and grassroots progressives across New York.

Western New York deserves a representative who will fight for working people, challenge corporate power, and help build a healthy, housed, and affordable future for all.

When we organize, we win.

Our Revolution

Patrick Nelson for NY State Senate (SD-44)

By ALL, Endorsement, NY

Patrick Nelson for NY State Senate (SD-44)

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Patrick Nelson for New York State Senate in District 44.

Patrick represents exactly the kind of bold, independent leadership our movement needs more of in Albany.

A two-term Village Trustee in Stillwater, Patrick has repeatedly won elections in a community that votes more than 60% Republican. He has done it by focusing on the issues that matter most to working people and by proving that progressive values can win anywhere when candidates are willing to fight for them.

Just as importantly, Patrick has never accepted contributions from corporations, corporate PACs, or lobbyists. Patrick is campaigning for a simple principle: our government should answer to people, not powerful donors. That’s why he supports banning corporate contributions in New York elections.

Patrick is sounding the alarm about the unchecked power of Big Tech and artificial intelligence. While corporations race to build massive energy-hungry data centers across the country, Patrick is calling for a three-year statewide moratorium on new data center projects so communities can fully understand their impacts on energy costs, infrastructure, the environment, and local democracy before it’s too late.

He also supports a New York Constitutional Right to Talk to a Human Being, ensuring people aren’t trapped navigating automated systems when seeking critical services. He believes life-altering decisions—from healthcare to housing to public services—should be made by people, not algorithms.

Patrick is fighting to make New York more affordable. From universal healthcare at the state level to his Affordable Housing Communities proposal would provide incentives for local governments to build lower-cost rental housing and homeownership opportunities, he has real plans to improve life for working families.

In an era when too many politicians are content to manage problems, Patrick Nelson is offering real solutions. He is taking on corporate influence, defending democratic accountability, fighting for affordable housing, and ensuring technology serves the public interest—not the other way around.

That’s why Our Revolution is proud to endorse Patrick Nelson for New York State Senate District 44.

When we organize, we win.

Jon Rivera for NY State Senate (SD-61)

By ALL, Endorsement, NY

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Jon Rivera for New York State Senate District 61.

Jon is a lifelong Western New Yorker and State Assemblymember who has built a record of delivering results. His campaign is grounded in a simple promise: leadership that shows up for workers, families, and neighborhoods — not just when it is politically convenient, but every day.

Jon has already proven what people-first leadership looks like. In the Assembly, he has championed housing protections, refugee resettlement, education investment, lead poisoning prevention, and community development. He has secured major investments in housing, youth programs, public schools, libraries, local infrastructure, cultural institutions, and community spaces that families can see and feel.

That is exactly the kind of progressive leadership Western New York needs in the State Senate.

Jon is running to deliver living wages, affordable child care, good jobs, stronger schools, and more affordable homes. And he understands that protecting the environment is a public health issue — from reducing lead exposure to cleaning up contaminated sites and supporting sustainable development.

At a time when MAGA extremism is threatening our rights, freedoms, and democracy, Jon is clear about what is at stake. Western New Yorkers deserve a senator who will defend democracy, reject extremism, and fight for what is right.

Our Revolution was founded to build progressive power from the ground up — in city halls, school boards, state legislatures, and Congress. Electing Jon Rivera to the New York State Senate would strengthen that movement and send a proven fighter for working families to Albany.

Jon has delivered before. Now, he is ready to keep fighting for every corner of the 61st District.

Our Revolution is proud to stand with Jon Rivera for New York State Senate.

Election Day: New York’s primary election is Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Polls are open from 6 AM to 9 PM, and early voting runs June 13–21.

NY ASSEMBLY SLATE

By ALL, Endorsement, NY

Our Revolution Endorses a Bold Progressive Slate Across New York

New York should be leading the nation on progressive policy — and it can if we build power up and down the ballot.

Time and again, Albany Democrats have watered down or blocked the bold solutions working people are demanding — from taxing the rich to passing single-payer healthcare. At a moment when billionaires and corporate interests are shaping the political “permission structure” for the entire country from Wall Street and Manhattan boardrooms, we can’t afford for deep blue states like New York to play it safe.

That’s why this is such an insurgent moment in New York politics — and why Our Revolution is mobilizing our one million members across the state to elect a new generation of progressive fighters at every level of government.

These candidates are taking on corporate power, political insiders, real estate interests, and the billionaire donor class — while fighting for housing justice, labor rights, healthcare, climate action, and economic democracy.

Brad Lander (NY-10)

As New York City Comptroller, Brad Lander has built a reputation for taking on corruption, corporate landlords, and billionaire influence in city politics. A longtime progressive reformer, he has championed affordable housing, climate action, labor rights, and government accountability while pushing back against the influence of real estate and corporate money.

Alex Bores (NY-12)

Alex Bores has emerged as one of the country’s leading voices on AI accountability and the dangers of unchecked corporate technology power. AOC for re-election to Congress (NY-14)

By ALL, Endorsement, NY

AOC for re-election to Congress (NY-14)

When Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez first ran for Congress in 2018, the political establishment dismissed her.

A young organizer and working-class Latina from the Bronx taking on one of the most powerful Democrats in Congress wasn’t supposed to win.

But she did.

And in the years since, AOC has become one of the clearest and most fearless voices for working people in American politics.

That’s why Our Revolution is proud to endorse Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for re-election to Congress in NY-14

A Movement Leader Fighting for Working People

Before Congress, AOC worked as an educator, organizer, and bartender to help support her family after the death of her father.

Inspired by the movement Bernie Sanders helped build, she launched a grassroots campaign powered by ordinary people — not corporate PACs or billionaire donors — and shocked the political world by defeating a top Democratic incumbent.

Since arriving in Congress, she has consistently fought for bold progressive policies that put people over profit:

  • Medicare for All
  • A Green New Deal
  • Housing justice
  • Student debt cancellation
  • Strong unions and worker protections
  • Taxing extreme wealth
  • Taking on corporate monopolies and corruption

She has also been a leading voice against endless war, attacks on immigrant communities, and corporate influence in politics.

Carrying Forward the Progressive Movement

AOC and Bernie Sanders share more than overlapping policy priorities — they share a vision of politics rooted in grassroots organizing, multiracial working-class solidarity, and taking on oligarchic power.

Together, they have helped redefine what’s politically possible in America.

From fighting for healthcare as a human right to challenging billionaire greed and building support for transformational climate action, AOC has helped carry forward the movement Bernie inspired into a new generation.

And unlike too many politicians in Washington, she has never backed down when it mattered most.

Taking on the Establishment — and Winning

AOC’s success has never come from corporate money or insider support.

It comes from organizing.

Time and again, she has shown that bold, unapologetic progressive politics can energize voters and build real power — especially among young people, working families, and communities too often ignored by the political establishment.

At a time when corporate interests and right-wing extremism are threatening democracy itself, leaders willing to fight clearly and courageously matter more than ever.

The Future We’re Building

Our Revolution was founded to transform the Democratic Party and build a government that works for the many, not the few.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez represents that fight every day in Congress.

She has helped push the national conversation toward economic justice, climate action, labor rights, and democracy reform — while continuing to organize alongside movements on the ground.

We’re proud to stand with her once again.

When we organize, we win. ✊

Darializa Avila Chevalier for Congress in NY-13

By ALL, Endorsement, NY

Darializa Avila Chevalier for Congress in NY-13

The working people in Harlem and the Bronx deserve bold, unapologetic leadership.

That’s why Our Revolution is proud to endorse Darializa Avila Chevalier for Congress in New York’s 13th District.

Darializa isn’t a career politician — she’s a movement organizer.

A working-class Afro-Latina, member of the United Auto Workers, and public defense investigator in Harlem, Darializa is grounded in grassroots organizing and committed to taking on corporate power.

From organizing against ICE to supporting working-class New Yorkers through mutual aid, her work has always centered on dignity, justice, and solidarity. She’s running on a bold, people-first agenda that includes:

  • Housing for all and major investments in public housing
  • Economic justice and support for working families
  • Immigrant rights and an end to inhumane detention and deportation policies
  • Ending endless war and redirecting resources toward communities at home
  • Greater worker ownership and community investment

Darializa has also been a leading voice in the movement for Palestinian human rights, connecting the fight against militarism abroad with the fight for justice and investment at home.

In NY-13, Darializa is challenging a long-entrenched incumbent backed by powerful special interests — including real estate and corporate-aligned donors.

This race is about more than one seat. It’s about whether the Democratic Party will continue to be shaped by insiders and big money — or by grassroots movements fighting for working people.

Darializa is part of a growing wave of insurgent, people-powered candidates stepping up to challenge the status quo — just like we saw with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in this very region.

When we organize, we win!

Our Revolution

Claire Valdez for Congress in NY-07

By ALL, Endorsement, NY

Claire Valdez for Congress in NY-07

At a time when working people are demanding more than empty promises, Our Revolution is proud to endorse Claire Valdez for Congress in New York’s 7th District.

Claire Valdez isn’t a career politician — she’s a union organizer, worker, and democratic socialist who has spent her life fighting for working people to have power.

A Worker and Organizer First

Claire’s story is rooted in the struggles so many New Yorkers face. She worked low-wage customer service jobs through high school and college, and later as a worker at Columbia University, where she joined UAW Local 2110, helped lead organizing efforts, and fought for a fair contract.

She didn’t just join a union — she helped transform it, organizing alongside her coworkers to democratize their workplace and win better conditions.

She also became a leader in the movement — organizing with NYC-DSA and helping build the kind of grassroots power that fuels real political change.

Today, she brings that same commitment to her role as a New York State Assemblymember, where she has already begun delivering for workers.

A Bold, Unapologetic Agenda

Claire Valdez is running on a clear, movement-driven platform:

  • Unions for all — expanding labor rights so every worker can organize
  • Housing for all — advancing social housing and taking on the housing crisis
  • Medicare for All — guaranteeing healthcare as a human right

In Albany, she has already:

  • Introduced legislation with UAW to expand unemployment insurance and paid leave for adjunct workers
  • Fought to strengthen protections for vulnerable workers
  • Been a vocal advocate for social housing solutions

And she’s shown real courage — even risking arrest to support NY for All, standing with immigrant communities and fighting to end collaboration between local law enforcement and ICE.

Taking on the System

Claire understands that the crises facing working people — from housing costs to healthcare to labor rights — are not accidents. They are the result of a system that prioritizes profit over people.

She’s running to change that.

Her campaign is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: workers deserve full, dignified lives — with time for family, security in retirement, and freedom from economic precarity.

That means:

  • Strong unions
  • Affordable housing
  • Universal healthcare
  • A government that represents working people — not corporations

Building a Movement

This race is about more than one seat.

It’s about proving that a campaign rooted in worker solidarity and unapologetic progressive values can win — and expand the political imagination of what’s possible.

From defending immigrant communities to fighting for a more humane foreign policy, Claire is part of a growing movement ready to challenge the status quo and build something better.

Now Is the Moment

Our Revolution believes real change comes from organized people — not big money.

Claire Valdez represents that movement.

We’re proud to stand with her as she fights to bring working-class power to Congress.

When we organize, we win. ✊

Brad Lander for Congress in NY-10

By ALL, Endorsement, NY

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Brad Lander for Congress in New York’s 10th Congressional District, a proven progressive leader with a track record of delivering for working people and standing up to corporate power.

As New York City Comptroller and previously a New York City Councilmember, Lander has led the charge on issues like workers’ rights, affordable housing, and holding corporations and public institutions accountable. His leadership has consistently centered transparency, fairness, and the needs of everyday people — not wealthy insiders.

Lander has led efforts to take on corporate greed, expand public investment, and build an economy that works for the many, not the few. From advocating for stronger labor protections to pushing for bold action on climate and housing, he has shown the kind of principled leadership our movement demands.

As Comptroller, Lander has used the power of the office to challenge corporate abuses and push for responsible investment strategies that prioritize workers, communities, and long-term sustainability. He has also been a strong advocate for ethical governance and transparency, helping ensure that public dollars are used to serve the public good.

Now, Lander is running for Congress to bring that same progressive, results-driven leadership to Washington. At a time when working families are struggling with rising costs and our democracy is under threat from corporate influence and right-wing extremism, we need leaders who will stand unapologetically with the people.

Brad Lander is that leader.

Our Revolution is proud to support his campaign and the grassroots movement behind it. Together, we can elect a champion for working families, strengthen the progressive caucus, and continue building the political revolution that puts people over profit.
