Phonebank for Barbara Lee for U.S. Senate

By Take Action

Our Revolution and the progressive movement are fighting for Barbara Lee because she has always fought for us — especially when the chips are down.

That’s why I hope you’ll join our phone bank team to make calls to voters in California for Barbara. We have a chance to elect one of the strongest progressives ever in Congress to join Bernie Sanders in the U.S. Senate — and now is the time to act!

Barbara is gaining more and more momentum in this race, but she needs our grassroots action to get her to victory on Election Day March 4th. Sign up here to make calls for Barbara Lee!

Barbara Lee is a progressive trailblazer for our movement, so making calls for her with our team is a lot of fun. But this is also serious business because we know what it would mean to put a powerhouse like her in the Senate.

At a time when 20 million Californians are one paycheck away from falling into poverty, they need a progressive champion with an unrivaled record of fighting for working families, Medicare for All, renters, affordable housing — and actually holding the rich and powerful to account.

As the most progressive candidate in this race, Barbara Lee has the support of progressives leaders like CPC chair Pramila Jayapal, Cori Bush, Ro Khanna, Ayanna Pressley, Keith Ellison, and many others inspired by working with her in Congress.

Barbara needs your voice! Join us to make calls to progressive voters across California to make sure they know what’s at stake in this race!

Barbara has always stood for what’s right, even when she’s had to stand alone, from her lone vote against the War in Afghanistan to being the only candidate in this race to call for a Ceasefire in the Middle East.

Barbara Lee is not standing alone now — she has our grassroots movement at her back because we know she’ll be a true organizer in the Senate and a key partner in our inside-outside strategy for change.

Stand with the Pro-Peace Progressives

By Homepage, Progressive Champions, Take Action

Looking to the battles ahead in 2024, we know we must defeat the far right in the Presidential election while also electing more progressives to Congress — folks like Barbara Lee, who will be a powerful partner for Bernie Sanders in the Senate.

Our movement will also need to unify to defend progressive allies who have become a target of powerful lobbying groups hoping to oust them from office.

AIPAC is getting ready to spend over $100M to try to replace pro-peace members of Congress like Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush, Summer Lee, Jamaal Bowman, and Ayanna Pressley — at a time when 66% of Americans want our government to work toward a ceasefire.

Last week, the Republican-led House of Representatives voted to censure Rashida Tlaib – the only Palestinian-American in Congress – for her support for civilians in Gaza and the West Bank, which has earned her relentless slander from her colleagues in Washington and the press.

SIGN NOW to protect our hard-won progressive caucus from cynical dark money and rightwing attacks. The working class can’t afford to lose the power of these seats.

In September of 2001, Barbara Lee cast the lone “No” vote in Congress against a blank check for war in Afghanistan. She endured death threats, hate mail, and media slander for years. But history vindicated her.

Today, Barbara Lee is the only candidate for U.S. Senate in California calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. Check out this LA Times article on why Barbara is the Peace Candidate in this race compared to her opponents Katie Porter and Adam Schiff.

Help Pass the Oligarch Act

By Take Action

Barbara and Bernie recently teamed up together on the new OLIGARCH Act to tax the ultra-wealthy. They’re also pushing for a Wall Street speculation tax, a bill to close the CEO-worker pay gap, an audit of the Pentagon, and more.

“Senator Sanders and I have worked on this daily,” Barbara said. “People cannot wait. Billionaires are scamming the system, and regular folks are paying excessive taxes to fuel the Pentagon budget. This is money that should be invested in healthcare, housing, and lifting people out of poverty.”
