Izola Shaw for Montgomery County Council District 3

By ALL, Endorsement, MD

Izola Shaw for Montgomery County Council District 3

At a time when working families are being squeezed by rising costs and corporate influence, Our Revolution is proud to endorse Izola Shaw for Montgomery County Council District 3.

Zola is a proven progressive leader, organizer, and public servant who has spent her career fighting for working people — not the powerful.

As a Rockville City Councilmember, Izola has delivered real results: advancing affordable housing investments, championing rent stabilization, and increasing public engagement in local government.

Zola’s entry in politics began by organizing workers to win a higher minimum wage for workers in Montgomery County. Like many other federal workers, she was fired by the Trump administration last May, along with 150 of her coworkers.

Her experience in public service goes beyond government agencies, serving on numerous county boards and task forces focused on women’s rights, social justice, voting rights and food security.

As a commissioner on the county’s Housing Opportunities Commission, Zola helps oversee a $400 million budget to build, preserve, and provide affordable housing for tens of thousands of residents.

She has also been a leader on racial and economic justice — helping lead the passage of Montgomery County’s Racial Equity and Social Justice Act and building the infrastructure to ensure government policies serve the most vulnerable.

Izola’s campaign is grounded in the belief that government must work for everyday people — fighting for affordable housing, strong public schools, good jobs, and equitable communities.

And she’s not new to our movement.

Izola has been part of the broader progressive organizing ecosystem aligned with Our Revolution — working alongside grassroots groups, advancing racial equity, and building people-powered change in Montgomery County.

This is exactly the kind of leadership we need right now.

Izola Shaw understands that progress isn’t given — it’s won. And she has spent her career organizing, delivering, and standing up to power to make it happen.

At Our Revolution, we’re proud to stand with candidates who are rooted in the grassroots and committed to bold, people-first change.

Izola Shaw is that leader — and we’re proud to endorse her.

Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate in Michigan

By ALL, Endorsement, MI

Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate in Michigan

At a time when we need bold, transformational leadership, Our Revolution is proud to endorse Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate in Michigan.

Abdul is a physician, epidemiologist, and public health leader — perhaps best known as a powerful surrogate for Medicare for All during the presidential campaign of Bernie Sanders, who has also come out to endorse him in this Senate run.

From leading public health efforts in Michigan to addressing national systemic health inequities, his work has always been grounded in the belief that everyone deserves dignity, care, and opportunity.

He’s running on a bold campaign platform to deliver for working people:

  • Medicare for All – healthcare is a human right
  • Taking on corporate greed
  • Restoring worker power
  • Ending corporate influence in politics
  • A humane immigration system
  • Foreign policy rooted in peace and accountability

This is a campaign powered by people — not corporate PACs — and driven by a commitment to build a government that truly represents working families.

At Our Revolution, we know that real change doesn’t come from the top down — it comes from movements.

Abdul El-Sayed has been part of that movement for years. Now, he’s ready to bring that fight to the United States Senate.

We’re proud to stand with him — and we’re ready to help build the grassroots power needed to win.

When we organize, we win.

Melat Kiros for U.S. Congress in CO-01

By ALL, CO, Endorsement

Melat Kiros for U.S. Congress in CO-01

In one of the most progressive districts in the country, voters in Colorado’s 1st deserve a representative who will fight as boldly as they do.

That’s why Our Revolution is proud to endorse Melat Kiros for U.S. Congress.

Melat Kiros is a lawyer, PhD student, and grassroots candidate running to bring a new generation of leadership to Washington — accountable to working people, not corporate PACs or entrenched political power.

Her campaign is rooted in a clear, unapologetic progressive vision.

Melat is running on a platform that includes:

  • Medicare for All — guaranteeing healthcare as a human right
  • Housing First — treating housing as a public good and ending homelessness
  • Universal childcare — ensuring every family has the support they need
  • Ending corporate influence in politics — rejecting corporate PAC money
  • An arms embargo rooted in human rights and accountability in U.S. foreign policy

She has been clear: in the richest country in the world, housing, healthcare, food, and education should be guaranteed rights — not privileges.

Melat’s candidacy is also about challenging a political status quo that has failed to deliver for working people. In a district like Denver — where inequality, displacement, and rising costs are reshaping communities — she is making the case that it’s time for leadership willing to take on corporate power and fight for structural change.

This is a campaign powered by people — not billionaires.

And it’s part of a broader movement to transform the Democratic Party into one that truly represents the needs of everyday Americans.

At Our Revolution, we believe that real change comes from candidates who are willing to stand up, speak out, and organize — even when it comes at a personal cost.

Melat Kiros is that kind of leader.

We’re proud to stand with her in Colorado’s 1st District — and we’re ready to help build the grassroots power needed to win.

Join us. Let’s organize for a government that works for all of us.

Julie Gonzales for U.S. Senate in Colorado

By ALL, CO, Endorsement

Julie Gonzales for U.S. Senate in Colorado

At a time when working people are demanding bold leadership, Julie Gonzales is stepping up to meet the moment — and Our Revolution is proud to endorse her.

A daughter of the San Carlos Apache Nation and a lifelong organizer, Julie has spent her career fighting for working families and immigrants. From organizing for affordable housing and workers’ rights to serving as a powerful voice in the Colorado State Senate, she has never backed down from the fights that matter most.

Julie Gonzales isn’t just talking about change — she’s delivering it.

In the Colorado Senate, she helped repeal the death penalty, stood strong to protect abortion rights after Roe was overturned, and has led efforts to expand protections for immigrant communities. She consistently champions policies that put people over profits.

And Julie is bringing that same unapologetic progressive vision to her campaign for U.S. Senate. She is running on a bold agenda that includes:

  • Medicare for All and universal care
  • Raising the minimum wage and strengthening labor rights
  • Universal childcare and affordable housing
  • A ban on congressional stock trading
  • Protecting reproductive freedom and gender-affirming care
  • A humane immigration system that defends our communities

Julie has never been afraid to challenge the status quo — even when it means taking on powerful interests within her own party. Her campaign is rooted in grassroots organizing and driven by the belief that our government should work for all of us, not just the wealthy and well-connected.

That’s why national progressive leaders and grassroots activists are rallying behind her candidacy. Because Julie Gonzales represents the future of the Democratic Party: bold, fearless, and accountable to the people.

At Our Revolution, we know real change doesn’t come from the top down — it comes from movements. Julie Gonzales is that movement candidate.

We’re proud to stand with her in this fight — and we’re ready to help send a true progressive champion to the United States Senate.

Matt Dunlap for Congress (ME-02)

By ALL, Endorsement, ME

Matt Dunlap for Congress (ME-02)

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Matt Dunlap for Congress in Maine’s 2nd District — a longtime public servant, democracy defender, and progressive leader ready to stand up for working people.

Matt Dunlap has spent decades serving the people of Maine with integrity and independence. From his time in the Maine House of Representatives to seven terms as Secretary of State, and now as State Auditor, he has built a reputation for accountability, transparency, and putting the public interest first.

But what truly sets Matt apart is his willingness to stand up to power — no matter where it comes from. During the Trump administration, he served on the so-called “election integrity” commission and took it head-on when it became clear it was a partisan effort to undermine voting rights, ultimately helping expose it and force its dissolution.

Matt has deep roots in the progressive movement. He served as a Maine co-chair for Bernie Sanders’ 2016 campaign, helping build the grassroots energy that continues to power our movement today. He understands that real change comes from organized people — not corporate influence.

Now, he’s running for Congress with a commitment to a “People’s Agenda” that centers working-class needs, challenges corporate power, and pushes back against politicians who side with Republicans and fail to deliver for their constituents.

At a time when too many Democrats hedge or compromise with corporate interests, Matt is running to be a clear, unapologetic voice for economic justice, voting rights, and a government that works for the many — not the few.

Maine’s 2nd District deserves a representative who will fight for healthcare, defend our democracy, and stand up to Trump and corporate power without hesitation. Matt Dunlap has the experience, the courage, and the movement behind him to do just that.

HEADLINES: Stop Trump’s War | Merkley, Khanna weigh in | Primaries Underway! | Dark Money Fight | Exciting New Endorsements | New Merch | & MORE!

★ ★ ★

Trump’s War Is a Wake-Up Call. Trump has dragged us into a catastrophic conflict — lives lost, costs rising, and now he’s pushing billions in cuts at home to pay for more bombs abroad.

This is exactly why we must take back Congress and elect leaders who will stand for peace and invest in our communities — not endless war and destruction.

On Monday, nearly 100,000 people tuned in to Our Revolution’s LIVE National Organizing Call to hear how we fight back — in the streets, in Congress, and at the ballot box.

Senator Jeff Merkley laid it out clearly: “The Constitution gives Congress the power of the purse and the power to declare war — and those powers are being ignored, with devastating consequences.”

Sen. Merkley is standing up to unchecked executive power and fighting to end these disastrous wars — and we’re proudly supporting him for re-election.

Rep. Ro Khanna connected the dots between war, corruption, and economic injustice: “This same elites send us to wars that don’t benefit the American people while they rig the economy and enrich themselves. They think they’re above the law — and people are fed up.”

Ro is leading a push for Senate Democrats to reject any Trump nominees for Attorney General unless they commit to full transparency in the Epstein case and prosecutions. Sign the petition here.

We need more fighters like Merkley and Khanna in Congress — and five bold, people-powered candidates joined the call ready to take up that fight.

Donate now to power our grassroots organizing and elect working-class to win the primaries this spring and beat MAGA in November.

ELECT PROGRESSIVES

★ ★ ★

ALL IN ON THE PRIMARIES!

Democratic primaries are happening right now, and our movement is mobilizing. No Kings showed we can million in the streets — now we need to get millions out to the polls.

We have a real shot to take back the House AND the Senate in November and block the worst of Trump during his final years in office — but we have to dig into the groundwork NOW.

And that’s exactly why Our Revolution is ramping up our voter turnout operation across the country — we’re calling, texting, and doorknocking our neighbors. Because every victory starts with grassroots power.

On Monday’s call, Wala Blegay made it clear what kind of campaign she’s running: “I took the People’s Pledge so folks know I’m serious — no corporate money, no special interest money. And I’m challenging my opponents to do the same.”

Wala is running in Maryland’s 5th District to bring bold, people-powered leadership to a seat long held by establishment insider Steny Hoyer.

A labor rights attorney, Prince George’s County Council Member, and former Bernie delegate in 2016, she has spent her career fighting for workers, expanding opportunity, and delivering for her community.

Educator, nonprofit leader, and now our endorsed candidate for Congress in CA-01, Audrey Denney spoke to the urgency facing communities in rural California:

“Hospital closures and wildfires are already hitting families hard. We need bold solutions like Medicare for All — and leaders who fight for people, not corporations,” she said Monday.

Audrey is running to bring real representation to a region that has been long overlooked — where parts of the district were held by Republicans for 50 years. From food security to strengthening local economies, Audrey has built a reputation for putting people first.

Running for Congress in a longtime working class district in Ohio that has recently gone red, Brian Poindexter spoke to what unites us.

“I don’t care if you shower before work or after work — we all have to work for a living. Voters just want someone who’s going to fight for them and for working people.”

A union ironworker and city councilman, Brian’s message cuts through the noise: fair wages, affordable healthcare, and a secure retirement — the “holy trinity” of economic justice that resonates with voters across party lines.

We’ve got a movement to build and an election to win. Donate today to elect working-class fighters and stop MAGA.

PA ENDORSEMENTS

In red district in Pennsylvania’s 7th, Bob Brooks’ run for Congress is bringing working-class voters back to the movement. A firefighter and union leader, he’s taking on a broken system that’s left communities behind.

On Monday’s call, he spoke to a major shift happening on the ground: “It’s one thing to feel left behind — it’s another when people realize they’ve been lied to. They’re angry, and they’re starting to come back because they want someone who will actually fight for them.”

From rising costs to endless war to corruption and Epstein cover-ups, Bob is speaking directly to the frustration people feel — and offering a real alternative grounded in progressive values and working-class solidarity.

★ ★ ★

Our candidate for Congress in PA-03, Chris Rabb, didn’t hold back: “In the bluest district in the country, we should have a true progressive fighting for Medicare for All and union rights — not another status quo politician.”

Chris is a longtime state rep and community leader, and he’s making it clear, “any blue will do” isn’t good enough when working people are still being left behind.

For years, Chris has taken on the establishment, introducing bold legislation and refusing corporate PAC money. Now, in an open-seat race, he’s the only candidate offering true transformational change — not politics as usual.

★ ★ ★

And, don’t forget about down-ballot races! We’re backing a slate of progressives running for state House and Senate in Pennsylvania — where they can make a real difference in the lives of working people in the Keystone State.

This is a critical election year, and we have a lot of work ahead of us. Donate to make sure we have the resources to get these elect working class fighters and defeat MAGA in the Midterms.

Our Revolution stands with Brad Lander in his run for Congress in NY-10 — a proven leader with a track record of delivering for working families and taking on corporate power.

As NYC Comptroller and former Council Member, he’s fought for workers’ rights, affordable housing, and an economy that works for the many — not the few.

Now, he’s leading the fight against big money by taking the People’s Pledge - rejecting dark and corporate money - and challenging his opponents to do the same.

Our Revolution is happy to endorse Aisha Wahab for Congress in CA-14. A State Senator and daughter of Afghan refugees, Aisha has been a leading voice for housing, labor rights, and affordability.

She’s fought to expand tenant protections, lower costs, and stand up for communities too often left behind. She’s exactly the kind of bold, people-first leadership we need in Congress.

We’re proud to endorse Dr. Adam Hamawy for Congress in NJ-12 — combat trauma surgeon, veteran, and lifelong humanitarian.

Dr. Adam Hamawy has spent decades saving lives — from Iraq to Gaza to emergency rooms in NJ. Now he’s running on a simple, powerful message: healthcare, not bombs.

He supports Medicare for All, and he's fighting to unrig our economy and put people over profit. This is the kind of leadership we need.

COLORADO SLATE

In addition to endorsing David Seligman for Colorado Attorney General, we’re also endorsing three great candidates running in Colorado to bring real change at the state and federal level.

Julie Gonzales for U.S. Senate and Melat Kiros for U.S. Congress in Colorado’s 1st District are both strong proponents for Medicare for All, immigrant protections, worker rights, and housing justice.

And, at the state level, Kenny Van Nguyen is running for House District 33. The son of Vietnamese refugees, Nguyen is dedicated to public service and bringing about diverse leadership in Colorado.

TRANSFORM THE PARTY

★ ★ ★

As dark money from AIPAC, Crypto, AI and other corporate interests flood the midterms, Our Revolution is pushing the Democratic National Committee to take action.

That’s why we led the charge to pass a DNC resolution to ban dark money in the 2028 presidential primaries. Now, the DNC is in the process of passing a resolution to crack down on dark and corporate money — even covering groups like AIPAC.

But now comes the real test: how it will actually be enforced. As Our Revolution founding chair Larry Cohen told the AP: “It’s necessary that we actually have the party do something on this issue, not just say something.

Democratic Party seats are also up for grabs this year. In Pennsylvania, we’re building progressive power in the party by endorsing these champions as State Committee Members.

They’ve all pledged to use their power to get dark money out. Not only do we have leaders like Larry Cohen carrying the fight as a DNC member, we’re also filling out the ranks of the party.

Lou Hancherick in Butler County; Colleen Ngyugen and John Flood in Cumberland County; Tracy Brown and Kimeka Campbell of Dauphin County; Mario Cimino, Colleen Kennedy, Catherine Coll, and Ashley Dolceamore of Delaware County; Megan Kocher of Luzerne County; Michael Laws of Northampton County; and Jeff Kennedy Faubert of Northumberland County.

Aisha Wahab for Congress (CA-14)

By ALL, CA, Endorsement

Aisha Wahab for Congress (CA-14)

Our Revolution is proud to endorse State Senator Aisha Wahab for Congress in California’s 14th District — a bold, movement leader who has spent her career fighting for working people, tenants, and communities too often left behind.

Aisha Wahab’s story is one of resilience and purpose. Born to Afghan refugees and raised in the East Bay after time in foster care, she understands firsthand the struggles that so many families face. That lived experience has shaped her commitment to building an economy that works for everyone — not just the wealthy and well-connected.

In the California State Senate, Wahab has been a leading voice for affordability, workers’ rights, and housing justice. She has taken on powerful interests to expand tenant protections, lower costs for working families, and push back against corporate-driven policies that put profit over people.

Wahab’s progressive leadership is backed by a strong record. She has earned top marks from organizations like Planned Parenthood, labor unions, environmental groups, and healthcare advocates — reflecting her unwavering support for reproductive freedom, workers’ rights, climate action, and expanding access to care.

She has also broken barriers as the first Muslim and Afghan American elected to the California State Senate, bringing new voices and perspectives into government while fighting to make it more responsive to the people it serves.

At a time when too many politicians are beholden to corporate donors and political insiders, Aisha Wahab has consistently stood with working-class communities — taking on corporate monopolies, advocating for economic justice, and pushing for policies that center human dignity.

Now, she’s bringing that same fight to Congress.

California’s 14th District deserves a representative who will stand up to entrenched power, fight for affordability and justice, and deliver real results for working families. Aisha Wahab has the experience, the values, and the movement behind her to do just that.

Dr. Adam Hamawy for Congress (NJ-12)

By ALL, Endorsement, NJ

Dr. Adam Hamawy for Congress (NJ-12)

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Dr. Adam Hamawy for Congress in New Jersey’s 12th District — a lifelong public servant, veteran, and physician who has dedicated his career to saving lives, not serving corporate interests.

Dr. Hamawy’s story is rooted in service. An immigrant who grew up in New Jersey, he worked his way through Rutgers on an ROTC scholarship, joined the New Jersey Army National Guard, and became a combat trauma surgeon in the U.S. Army, ultimately rising to the rank of Lt. Colonel.

He treated victims on 9/11, saved lives on the battlefield in Iraq — including now-Senator Tammy Duckworth — and has spent more than three decades providing care in war zones and disaster areas around the world.

But what sets Dr. Hamawy apart is not just his service — it’s what he has learned from it.

From Iraq to Gaza, he has witnessed firsthand the devastating human cost of endless war and a foreign policy driven by politics and profit rather than humanity. At the same time, he has treated patients here at home in New Jersey who struggle to access basic care in a broken healthcare system. That contrast has shaped his mission: to fight for healthcare, not bombs.

Dr. Hamawy is running a truly people-powered campaign grounded in bold progressive values. He supports Medicare for All to guarantee healthcare as a human right. He is committed to ending inhumane immigration policies, including abolishing ICE. And he is fighting to unrig an economy that puts billionaires and corporations ahead of working people.

Unlike many in Washington, Dr. Hamawy cannot be bought. His campaign is rooted in service, integrity, and a deep commitment to human dignity — values he has lived out not just in words, but in action across decades.

At a time when establishment politicians continue to uphold a status quo that fails working families, Dr. Hamawy represents the kind of leadership our movement was built to elect: courageous, compassionate, and unapologetically committed to justice.

New Jersey’s 12th District deserves a representative who understands what it means to serve — and who will fight every day to deliver for the people, not corporate donors or political insiders.

Dr. Adam Hamawy has spent his life saving lives. Now, he’s ready to fight for them in Congress.

When we organize, we win.
