Anthony Driver for Congress in IL-07

By Endorsement, IL

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Anthony Driver for Congress, a South Side Chicago leader, labor champion, and progressive organizer who has spent his career fighting for working people and building power in his community.

Anthony Driver brings a powerful combination of grassroots organizing, policy leadership, and movement values to this race. As Executive Director of the SEIU Illinois State Council, Driver helps lead policy initiatives, organizing campaigns, and advocacy efforts on behalf of more than 160,000 union members across the state. In that role, he has fought for better wages, stronger labor protections, and policies that put working families first.

Driver has also been a leader in the movement for accountable, community-centered public safety. He served as the first president of Chicago’s Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability, helping build a new model for civilian oversight and democratic participation in public safety decisions.

A lifelong South Side resident, Driver’s commitment to justice and opportunity is deeply rooted in the community that raised him. He is a proud graduate of Howard University, where he earned degrees in Political Science and History, and has been a strong advocate for HBCUs and the role they play in expanding opportunity.

Driver began his career in public policy as a Policy Associate at The Estell Group, the first and only Black woman–owned full-service government relations firm operating at the national level. That experience helped shape his understanding of how policy and advocacy can be used to advance equity and opportunity for marginalized communities.

Throughout his career, Anthony has shown that real change comes from organizing, coalition-building, and standing up to entrenched power. His work with organized labor, his leadership in public accountability, and his commitment to educational opportunity all reflect the values that Our Revolution fights for every day.

At a time when working families are struggling with rising costs, attacks on labor rights, and threats to our democracy, we need leaders in Congress who will stand unapologetically with the people — not corporate interests.

Together, we can send a proven organizer and champion for working people to Washington.

Jared Ploger for Illinois State House HD-84

By Endorsement, IL

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Jared Ploger for Illinois House District 84, a public school teacher, union leader, and community advocate who has dedicated his career to strengthening public education and standing up for working families.

Jared knows firsthand the challenges facing students, educators, and families because he lives them every day. As a high school teacher and president of Valley View Council 604 of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), he has helped lead organizing and advocacy efforts to ensure educators have the resources they need.

First elected to the Oswego Community Unit School District 308 school board in 2015, Ploger worked to strengthen public schools and ensure families had a voice in education decisions.

A champion for community engagement, Ploger has helped create spaces that bring families and schools together. He served on the District Parent Committee and the Bilingual Parents Advisory Council, and launched a program called the Father’s Forum at Long Beach Elementary, designed to help dads play a stronger role in their children’s education and school communities.

Beyond the classroom and school board, Ploger is also a basketball coach who has received the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Coach of the Year award three times. Through coaching, he has mentored young people on teamwork, leadership, and perseverance — values that guide his approach to public service.

Ploger earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and his master’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University. He and his wife are raising two sons who attend school in the district, giving him a personal stake in the future of Illinois public education and the well-being of local families.

At a time when public education and working families face growing challenges, Illinois needs leaders who will stand unapologetically with teachers, students, and communities — not corporate interests.

Together, we can send a champion for public education and community leadership to Springfield.

Dolores Lozano for Harris County Justice of the Peace (Pct. 2, Place 2)

By Endorsement, TX

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Dolores Lozano for Harris County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, Place 2 — a committed public servant and community advocate who has dedicated her career to expanding access to justice and protecting working families.

Dolores Lozano brings years of experience serving Harris County residents through public service and community engagement. With a background rooted in civic leadership and advocacy, she has worked closely with families navigating housing instability, economic hardship, and barriers within the legal system. She understands that for many Texans, the Justice of the Peace court is not an abstraction — it is where decisions about housing, small claims, traffic cases, and basic rights directly impact everyday life.

A Court That Works for the People

Justice courts are often the first — and sometimes only — interaction working families have with the judicial system. Dolores is running to ensure that this court operates with fairness, transparency, and compassion.

She believes the bench must:

  • Protect tenants’ rights and prevent unjust evictions
  • Ensure due process for all residents
  • Expand language access and accessibility in the courtroom
  • Prioritize alternatives to punitive fines that disproportionately impact low-income communities

Dolores understands that justice should not depend on wealth. Courts must serve the community — not function as revenue generators or tools that deepen inequality.

Rooted in Community Leadership

Throughout her career, Dolores has built trust by listening to residents and advocating for policies that strengthen neighborhoods. Her leadership reflects the values Our Revolution champions: accountability, equity, and people-first governance.

In a county as large and diverse as Harris, we need judicial leaders who are grounded in the community and committed to fairness under the law. Dolores Lozano represents a new generation of local leadership focused on restoring trust and ensuring equal justice for all.

Our Revolution exists to elect leaders who stand with working families and challenge systems that perpetuate injustice. Dolores Lozano is that kind of leader.

We are proud to stand with her.

When we organize, we win. ✊

Julio Salinas for Texas State House District 41

By Endorsement, TX

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Julio Salinas for Texas State House District 41 – a longtime organizer and capitol staffer who will fight to restore the promise of America to the Rio Grande Valley.

Jose is running to rebuild trust in our elected officials, return opportunity to the Valley, and make sure working families are prioritized – not the powerful elite. The RGV used to offer two things: a low cost of living and a community that lifted people up. Now, too many families are being crushed by rising housing costs, healthcare bills, and property taxes. Jose has the experience and drive to make a change and deliver major investments in the RGV.

A Champion for Public Education and Working Families

Throughout his career, Julio has been a steadfast advocate for:

  • Investments in education, so every child can succeed.
  • Access to affordable healthcare and mental health services.
  • Good jobs and strong labor protections, so hard work once again pays off.

He knows firsthand the challenges facing families in HD-41 — from healthcare shortages and underfunded schools to rising costs of living — and he is committed to delivering practical solutions rooted in equity and opportunity.

Rooted in Community, Not Corporate Interests

Julio’s leadership is grounded in community service, not corporate PAC money. He has built his reputation by listening to constituents, strengthening local institutions, and fighting for policies that put people before profits.

At a time when Texas families need leaders who will stand up to powerful special interests and defend public education, healthcare access, and economic justice, Julio Salinas is ready to step up.

Our Revolution exists to elect candidates who will confront oligarchic influence and champion working people. Julio Salinas embodies that mission.

We’re proud to stand with him in this critical race.

When we organize, we win. ✊

Jose Loya for Texas General Land Office

By Endorsement, TX

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Jose Loya for Texas Commissioner of the General Land Office — a veteran, labor leader, and lifelong public servant who understands that Texas’s natural resources should serve working people, not corporate insiders.

From the frontlines of military service to the frontlines of the labor movement, Jose has dedicated his life to standing up for everyday Texans. He brings a deep commitment to accountability, transparency, and economic justice — values that are urgently needed in an office that oversees billions in public lands, energy leases, disaster recovery funds, and coastal protection efforts.

A Fighter for Working Texans

As a veteran, Jose understands sacrifice and service. As a labor leader, he has fought for fair wages, safe working conditions, and dignity on the job. That perspective is critical in a state where energy development too often prioritizes corporate profits over workers, communities, and environmental stewardship.

Jose is running to ensure Texas’s vast energy resources create high-paying, union-supported jobs, strengthen local economies, and protect the long-term health of our coastline and public lands. He believes we can responsibly develop resources while investing in coastal resilience, hurricane protection, and disaster recovery for communities that are too often left behind.

Protecting Our Coastline and Public Trust

The General Land Office plays a vital role in managing Texas’s coastline and distributing disaster relief funds. Texans deserve leadership that prioritizes transparency and fairness — not backroom deals or political favoritism.

Jose Loya is committed to:

  • Protecting Texas’s coastline from erosion and climate-driven disasters
  • Ensuring disaster recovery funds reach families and small businesses quickly and fairly
  • Managing public lands responsibly for future generations
  • Leveraging energy revenues to create stable, high-paying jobs for Texans

People Over Corporate Power

At a time when oligarchs and special interests dominate too many decisions in Austin and Washington, Jose is running a campaign rooted in working-class values and community accountability. He understands that public resources belong to the public — and that government must work for the many, not the wealthy few.

Our Revolution exists to elect leaders who will stand up to corporate power and fight for economic justice. Jose Loya is that kind of leader.

We’re proud to stand with him in this critical race for Texas’s future.

When we organize, we win. ✊

State Sen. Sarah Eckhardt for Texas Comptroller

By Endorsement, TX

Our Revolution is proud to endorse State Sen. Sarah Eckhardt for Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts — a proven public servant committed to lowering costs for working families, fighting corruption, and restoring trust in government.

At a time when Texans are facing rising housing costs, higher utility bills, and growing economic uncertainty, the office of Comptroller matters more than ever. The Comptroller is the state’s chief financial officer — responsible for managing Texas’ revenue, overseeing billions in public funds, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly. Texans deserve a watchdog, not a rubber stamp for corporate giveaways.

A Record of Accountability and Reform

Sarah Eckhardt has built her career on transparency and public accountability. Before serving in the Texas Senate, she was the first female Travis County Judge, where she led efforts to improve fiscal oversight, invest in infrastructure, and strengthen public services. In the Senate, she has been a consistent voice for ethical government, responsible budgeting, and policies that serve everyday Texans — not special interests.

Sarah understands that budgets are moral documents. They reflect who government chooses to prioritize. And for too long, backroom deals and blank checks to corporate insiders have eroded public trust.

As Comptroller, Sarah has pledged to:

  • End corporate handouts that don’t deliver for Texans
  • Increase transparency in how public funds are allocated
  • Ensure taxpayer dollars are invested in schools, healthcare, infrastructure, and community resilience
  • Provide honest, independent economic analysis — free from political manipulation

Putting Texans First

The Comptroller’s office should be a firewall against corruption — not a facilitator of it. Sarah Eckhardt is running to bring integrity back to state finances and make sure public resources are used to lower costs and strengthen communities.

In an era of rising oligarch influence and political profiteering, Texas needs leaders willing to stand up to special interests and put working families first. Sarah has the experience, independence, and backbone to do just that.

Our Revolution is proud to stand with Sarah Eckhardt in this critical race.

When we organize, we win. ✊

Rev. Freddie Haynes for Congress in Texas’ 30th District

By Endorsement, TX

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Rev. Freddie Haynes for U.S. Congress in Texas’ 30th District — a lifelong movement leader whose decades of pastoral leadership and community organizing in Dallas have been rooted in the fight for justice, dignity, and opportunity for all.

Rev. Haynes is not new to this struggle. As Senior Pastor of Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas, he has built one of the most influential faith-based institutions in Texas — using the pulpit not just for preaching, but for organizing around voting rights, economic empowerment, healthcare access, criminal justice reform, and civil rights.

A Legacy of Organizing and Advocacy

For decades, Rev. Haynes has been on the frontlines of the fight for voting rights in Texas — a state where voter suppression and attacks on democracy are ongoing. He has mobilized thousands of Texans to participate in elections, advocated for expanded ballot access, and worked to ensure communities of color are heard and represented.

His leadership extends beyond the ballot box. Rev. Haynes has consistently spoken out for:

  • Economic justice and living wages
  • Expanded access to affordable healthcare
  • Criminal justice reform
  • Civil rights protections
  • Investment in underserved communities

Through faith-based organizing and coalition-building, he has demonstrated that moral clarity and political courage can move people into action.

A Voice for Working Families in Washington

Rev. Haynes is running for Congress because he believes working families in TX-30 deserve bold, accountable leadership that will fight for healthcare, good-paying jobs, and equal justice under the law — not corporate PAC money and political insiders.

At a time when billionaire influence threatens our democracy and too many politicians hesitate to challenge entrenched power, Rev. Haynes brings a lifetime of fearless advocacy. His campaign is grounded in community, faith, and a deep commitment to justice.

Our Revolution exists to elect leaders who will stand with the people and confront systems that prioritize profit over human dignity. Rev. Freddie Haynes embodies that mission.

We are proud to stand with him in this race.

When we organize, we win. ✊

Patty Garcia for U.S. Congress in Illinois’ 4th District

By Endorsement, IL

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Patty Garcia for U.S. Congress in Illinois’ 4th Congressional District — a proven community leader, public servant, and progressive advocate who has spent her career fighting for working families, immigrant rights, and economic justice.

Eric grew up in a military family that sometimes relied on food stamps, Medicaid, and disability support — experiences that shaped his commitment to expanding opportunity for all, not just the wealthy few. He went on to become a first-generation college graduate and built a career creating jobs and expanding access to affordable healthcare, including supporting services that lower costs and improve mental health care.

Eric’s campaign is powered by people. He’s pledged never to take corporate PAC or lobbyist money and is fighting to end corruption and make government accountable to everyday people. His platform tackles the biggest challenges facing families in California — from skyrocketing housing costs and high utility bills to the need for universal childcare, affordable healthcare, and strong protections for workers and veterans.

As someone who built nonprofits and companies that solve real problems, Eric brings a problem-solving, community-first approach to politics — not the old Washington playbook. He’s running to restore the American Dream by focusing on affordability, accountability, and aspiration for every family in the North Bay and beyond.

Our Revolution believes in leaders who fight for working people with integrity and courage. Eric Jones is one of those leaders — and we’re proud to stand with him as he brings a people-powered movement to Congress in 2026.

When we organize, we win. ✊
