Fire Carr

By Homepage2, Take Action

On Tuesday, Our Revolution activists confronted Trump’s censorship czar at the FCC’s first open meeting since he pressured ABC affiliates to pull Jimmy Kimmel Live! off the air.

“This was us using our free speech rights to tell Brendan Carr that he can’t use threats as FCC chair to impinge those rights,” Our Revolution deputy director Paco Fabián told The Hollywood Reporter.

Carr sat stone-faced while we chanted “Fire Carr, the censorship czar!” — before Homeland Security officers escorted us out.

“Carr has sided with corporate power brokers like the Ellisons and Murdochs, working to create media monopolies that silence independent voices and undermine free speech,” Paco told news outlets. “Activists directly confronted Carr during the meeting and call out his role in eroding democracy.”

Trump and his cronies won’t silence our dissent. Free speech means the right to call out corruption, oligarchy, and authoritarianism.

Our Revolution Endorses Cori Bush to Reclaim MO-1

By Endorsement, MO

Our Revolution Endorses Cori Bush to Reclaim MO-1:

Our Revolution proudly endorses Cori Bush in her courageous campaign to reclaim Missouri’s 1st Congressional District. Cori has always stood with the people—unapologetically, fearlessly — and now she’s answering the call again in a race that matters for the future of progressive politics.

Why We Support Cori Bush

  • Rooted in activism, not special interests. Cori’s journey is built on community struggle. She’s a nurse, pastor, and longtime organizer who was on the frontlines of Ferguson, standing with Black Lives Matter and demanding justice for her community.
  • Bold progressive vision. In Congress, Cori championed Medicare for All, cancellation of student debt, expanding reproductive rights, and reallocating resources from policing to people. Her agenda is not incremental—it’s transformative.
  • A consistent fighter against corporate influence. Her re-election bid is a stand against the billionaire-backed machine that ousted her from MO-1. In her 2024 primary loss, pro-Israel super PACs poured $8.5+ million into the race to unseat her precisely because she refused to be silenced.
  • A mandate to push forward—not retreat. Cori doesn’t move backward. She moves forward. We need leaders who don’t compromise when conditions get tough—and that’s exactly what she’s running to do.

The Stakes Are High

Missouri’s 1st has too often been treated as safe ground for establishment politics. But that’s not good enough when people are crushed by healthcare costs, racial injustice, climate collapse, and widening inequality. The district deserves a representative who will fight for working people—not corporate donors, not talk-show headlines, and not political insiders.

The powerful forces that tried to silence Cori last cycle are mobilizing again. This time, we’re not only going to resist their influence—we’re going to outwork it. We will make this race about people, not PACs or dark money.

What We’ll Do Together

  • Mobilize the grassroots. Volunteers across Missouri and the country will knock doors, phonebank, and build relationships with voters who rarely get heard.
  • Amplify her message. We’ll spread Cori’s vision through social media, texts, and community forums to counter the billionaire-funded narrative.
  • Build a durable movement. This campaign isn’t just about one race—it’s about strengthening the progressive infrastructure in MO-1, inspiring local power, and shifting the balance of power nationally.

Cori’s running again because she knows what we already do: When we organize, we win.

This time, we reclaim MO-1—not for elites, but for working people.

Turn Jersey City Blue — Our Progressive Slate

By Endorsement, NJ

Turn Jersey City Blue — Our Progressive Slate

The stakes in Jersey City have never been higher — and Our Revolution is stepping up. We’re proud to back a bold, people-powered slate for the November 2025 municipal elections that can shift power away from entrenched interests and back to working people.

Meet Our Jersey City Slate

  • James Solomon – Mayoral Candidate
Councilmember Solomon is running as a progressive, climate-centered champion who refuses to be “bought or bossed.” He’s already earned the endorsement of Climate Cabinet Action for his leadership on climate resilience and city-wide environmental policies. He has pushed for stronger tenant protections, halted sweetheart developer deals, and advocated for more transparency in local government.
  • At-Large Candidates: Mamta Singh, Michael Griffin, Roland Lavarro
(We’ll insert their bios and backgrounds as soon as possible—if you can send me them, I’ll weave them in.)
  • Ward Council Candidates:
    • Denise Ridley (Ward A): A lifelong Jersey City resident and public servant, Ridley has represented Ward A since 2018 and is now running for reelection on Solomon’s slate. She’s earned the trust of transportation workers union ATU Local 823 and District 1199J healthcare workers for her record supporting labor, transit, and sustainable development.
    • Lorena Loayza (Ward B)
    • Dawn Giabalvo (Ward C)
    • Veronica Akaezuwa (Ward D)
    • Eleana Little (Ward E)

These candidates are united by a bold progressive vision: housing justice, community control, transparency, and a refusal to let corporate money drown out the needs of everyday people.

Why This Slate Matters

Jersey City is a microcosm of the broader struggle for democracy. The same forces that try to shape state and national politics—developers, corporate interests, opaque deals—are at work at the municipal level. That’s why winning local elections matters more than ever.

By backing Solomon and his entire progressive slate, we’re not just choosing better policies. We’re building power from the ground up. This is exactly what Our Revolution is all about.

When our neighbors win, we all win. Let’s show what grassroots progressive power can do in Jersey City.

Building Power in Pennsylvania: Meet Our Slate

We have an outstanding lineup of progressive champions running in Pennsylvania — and Our Revolution is proud to stand behind them. These are candidates who will challenge the status quo, fight for working people, and bring real change to every level of government.

Our PA Endorsements

  • Dylan Altemara, PA State House District 39
Dylan is running to deliver lower taxes, better healthcare, and clean energy jobs for his district. He also serves on the board of the Pennsylvania Equality Project, where he fights for LGBTQ+ rights, equity, and community-led change.
  • Rich Forsman, Camp Hill Borough Council
A long-time Camp Hill resident and IT professional, Rich is committed to improving public safety (especially around local schools), traffic calming, and bringing accountable governance to his borough. He shifted from conservative roots to progressive activism as he studied inequity and corruption in policy.
  • Kyle McIntyre, Upper Darby Township Council
  • Nicki Williams, Judge of Elections, District 2-1
  • For Conestoga Valley School District:
We also endorse Suze Louis, Sarah E. Kern, Melissa Clinton, and Tim Shea for school board. These candidates are committed to equitable funding, educational justice, and ensuring our schools serve every child — not corporate interests.

Why This Matters — It’s What Our Movement Was Built For

This is what Our Revolution was built for: electing bold progressives at every level of government — from the State House to local councils and school boards — who will stand up to the billionaire class and fight to defund the oligarchs.

In Pennsylvania, we know that power is often centralized in statehouses and local boards long before it reaches Congress. That’s why this slate matters. Each of these candidates brings:

  • A commitment to working-class interests over corporate money
  • A belief that democracy should be locally rooted
  • The courage to push policies like healthcare access, clean energy, and educational equity

When our neighbors win, we all win. Let’s show what grassroots progressive power can do in Pennsylvania!

Dayton Deserves Bold Progressive Leadership

By Endorsement, OH

Dayton Deserves Bold Progressive Leadership

This year in Dayton, progressives have a real shot at building power from the bottom up — and Our Revolution is proud to back three courageous candidates who are running to put people first: Shenise Turner-Sloss for Mayor, Darryl Fairchild for re-election (City Commissioner), and Jacob Davis for City Commissioner.

Why These Candidates Matter

  • Shenise Turner-Sloss (Mayor)
As a Dayton City Commissioner, Shenise has already shown she’s a fighter for affordable housing, neighborhood investment, and transparency in government. She co-founded Neighborhoods Over Politics, leading efforts to direct over $7.6 million into community uplift and housing improvements. Her platform calls for reimagining public safety, boosting resident engagement, and putting local values ahead of corporate development.
  • Darryl Fairchild (City Commissioner, running for re-election)
Fairchild has a track record of putting neighborhoods first. He’s championed water infrastructure protections, secured $5.2 million for housing, and pushed for policies that bring equity and transparency to city planning. In interviews, he cites revitalizing neglected areas, promoting inclusive development, and strengthening trust between government and residents as core priorities.
  • Jacob Davis (City Commissioner candidate)
Jacob brings fresh energy and a community advocacy background to this race. A lawyer by training, Davis emphasizes economic justice, support for small businesses, and revitalizing struggling neighborhoods. He is campaigning under the slogan “Neighborhoods First. Progress for All.”

What This Slate Represents

Electing bold progressives in Dayton isn’t just about new names on ballots — it’s about reshaping power at the local level. These candidates reject corporate money, favor community-led development, and believe in cities that serve working people, not private interests.

By backing Turner-Sloss, Fairchild, and Davis, Our Revolution is investing in a future where Dayton’s policies reflect the needs and dreams of its residents — not the richest investors or developers.

Dayton is ready for a change. Let’s show what grassroots power can do when we support leaders who believe in justice, equity, and people over profit.

Mobilizing to Elect Zohran Mamdani: Calls, Canvassing, and a Nationwide Push

By Homepage2, Uncategorized No Comments

As Election Day rapidly approaches, Zohran Mamdani’s road to becoming Mayor of NYC is getting tougher — and that’s just what Trump and his billionaire allies want. They’re working overtime to bully candidates out of the race and consolidate the field against Zohran.

Polls show that when other candidates drop out and the field narrows to Cuomo vs. Mamdani, the race tightens dramatically. That’s why we cannot let up for a single second.

The Big Money Machine Is in Overdrive

Right now, the big-money machine is flooding the airwaves with smear ads — and from what our volunteers are hearing on the phones, it’s working. Voters are telling us:

“The negative ads are everywhere – and they’re making me question whether his ideas will work.”

“I keep hearing he’s a shoe-in, so maybe I don’t even need to vote?”

These are exactly the kinds of doubts billionaire dollars are designed to sow. But we can beat them — conversation by conversation.

Our Revolution’s Plan: Organize Everywhere

Our Revolution is turning out grassroots volunteers from across the country every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdayto make calls and have real conversations with voters.

And we’re not stopping at the phones. Our field organizers are gearing up to do what we did in the primary — hit all five boroughs and the subways to talk to as many people as possible, day after day.

We are NOT going to let billionaire dollars have the final say. We can out-organize them — neighbor by neighbor, call by call — but it’s going to take resources to do it.

➡️ Join the Phonebank
➡️ Donate Now to Power the Ground Game

Why This Matters

If we’re going to stop Trump and his billionaire backers from deciding this election, the fact is that real, in-depth conversations work. We’re knocking on doors, dialing, texting, answering urgent questions, and sharing the truth about this election.

We’re ready to reach hundreds of thousands of voters. But this work takes resources — and right now we’re running up against hard limits. More volunteers are ready, but we need urgent funds to run and staff phone banks and expand our ground game to new neighborhoods.

The Path to Victory

The path to victory is talking to every voter and refusing to let billionaire-funded noise drown us out. Otherwise, we risk reliving what happened to Bernie Sanders, India Walton, and Nina Turner — when corporate money turned the tide and silenced the grassroots.

We won’t let history repeat itself. But we can’t do it without you.

➡️ Make a Donation Right Now to Fuel Our Phone Banks and Ground Game

One Conversation at a Time

Together, we can elect Zohran Mamdani and prove — once again — that grassroots power beats billionaire cash. Every dollar keeps us dialing. Every call moves us closer to victory.

Thank you for powering the real grassroots movement. Together, we win this fight — one conversation at a time.

All-In on Prop 50 in California — Defend Democracy

By Homepage, Take Action

Our Revolution is endorsing California’s Prop 50 – the Election Rigging Response Act – and we’re putting organizers on the ground to win it.

Why We’re All-In

Donald Trump and Republicans across the country have launched a MASSIVE national redistricting effort in Texas, Missouri, Ohio, Florida, and more — desperately trying to steal enough seats to keep control of Congress no matter how the people vote.

Prop 50 is our chance to fight back. By passing the Election Rigging Response Act, California voters can ensure their voices aren’t silenced by Republican gerrymandering — and prevent Trump and his allies from cementing control of our government for years to come.

Our Plan to Win

We’re going all in — mobilizing our grassroots base to support local groups on the ground with canvassing, phonebanking, and voter education. Together, we’re aiming to reach 1.2 million contacts across California before Election Day.

Donald Trump and Republicans in states like Texas and Missouri are already gerrymandering congressional seats to rig the 2026 election before voting even begins. More Republican-led states are following suit every day.

We have to fight back with every tool available — and our best bet is protecting fair redistricting in California.

The Challenge Ahead

But the truth is, we’re up against corporate PAC money and Republican billionaires fueling the right-wing’s war chest. They will spend whatever it takes to stop Prop 50.

If we stand together — if we show up, organize, and outwork them — we can win.

Ballots will start hitting mailboxes on October 6. That means we have just days to reach voters before they start to vote.

The Bottom Line

Republican billionaires may have the money — but we have the people. Our Revolution is proud to be in coalition in this fight to pass Prop 50 and protect free and fair elections.

“Donald Trump and the GOP are trying to rig the system to keep themselves in power, enrich their corporate backers, and dismantle our democracy piece by piece,” said Joseph Geevarghese, Executive Director of Our Revolution. “Prop 50 is how we fight back here in California.

“With our 1.2 million contacts statewide, we are mobilizing in every corner of the state—texting, phone banking, canvassing, and engaging voters at every level—to make sure Californians have their voices heard and their votes protected.

“The stakes could not be higher: if Republicans succeed in gerrymandering the House, they’ll have free rein to continue their corruption and authoritarian power grab. Prop 50 is one important way we can fight back and preventing a full power grab by Trump and the oligarchs that put him in power.”

Geevarghese continued, “Republican billionaires may have the money, but we have the people. When we organize, we win. The stakes could not be any higher.”

Together, we can defend democracy and stop election rigging.

When we organize, we win,

Victory for Justice: Our Revolution Celebrates Larry Krasner’s Win

By Endorsement, PA

We’re proud to celebrate the re-election of Larry Krasner as Philadelphia’s District Attorney. The progressive hero secured his third Democratic primary win, winning over 60% of the vote and all but ensuring another four years of reform-focused leadership.

Why This Win Matters

Since taking office in 2018, Krasner has consistently used his position to pursue justice—not prosecution:

  • Fewer incarcerations, safer communities: Under his leadership, Philadelphia’s jail population has been slashed nearly in half, while crime rates continue to fall.
  • Prosecutorial reform in action: Krasner’s office has eliminated cash bail for many nonviolent offenses, dropped minor felony charges like marijuana possession, and aggressively prosecuted police misconduct.
  • Accountability through innovation: His DA’s office created a Conviction Integrity Unit that has exonerated dozens of innocent people. It also launched a unit to tackle quality-of-life issues—including prosecuting dumping of household waste and tires.

Standing Strong Against the Right-Wing Backlash

Krasner’s victory came despite targeted attacks from Republicans and former President Trump—and after surviving a failed impeachment attempt by state lawmakers.

His campaign drew strength from small-dollar donations and grassroots organizing. In his victory speech, Krasner proclaimed:

“They can come for Philly, but I’m not backing down.”

This Victory is a Win for Progressive Prosecution

While reform prosecutors in other cities have lost ground under conservative pressure, Krasner’s win—driven by strong support among Black voters and progressives—shows that people power still works. It’s a reminder that local organizing and community engagement can beat back authoritarian and punitive agendas.

What Comes Next?

Krasner will enter the general election unopposed—giving him the green light to keep building a more equitable, accountable justice system in Philadelphia.

This victory is a testament to all of us: when we organize, we win.

Congratulations, Larry Krasner. Keep leading the fight for real justice.

By AZ, Endorsement

We’re thrilled to congratulate Adelita Grijalva on her decisive win in Arizona’s 7th Congressional District.

Why This Victory Matters

A Legacy Rooted in Service
Adelita is not new to public service — she’s a lifelong Tucson community leader. From two decades serving on the Tucson Unified School District Board to her term on the Pima County Board of Supervisors — including a term as the first Latina Board Chair — Adelita has consistently delivered on affordable housing, climate resilience, relentless education investment, and public safety.

Upholding a Family’s Progressive Legacy
She is succeeding her father, Rep. Raúl Grijalva, a legendary progressive force in Southern Arizona. Adelita’s win ensures the continuation of a values-driven, people-centered approach to representation. As she celebrated in her victory speech, “This is a victory not for me, but for our community and the progressive movement my dad started in Southern Arizona more than 50 years ago.”

A Movement Unites Behind Her
Adelita’s campaign drew broad support across the progressive spectrum — including endorsements from Senator Bernie Sanders, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Emily’s List, and the Working Families Party. Through grassroots grassroots efforts — 39,000 door knocks, 1,400 volunteers, and a vibrant “movimiento” — Adelita’s campaign embodied people-powered politics.

A Strong Road Ahead
Adelita is the first Latina from Arizona to serve in Congress, This victory is a powerful reminder of what community-organized, progressive leadership can achieve. Congratulations, Adelita Grijalva — and onward to Congress!

When we organize, we win.
