Victory for Justice: Our Revolution Celebrates Larry Krasner’s Win

By Endorsement, PA

We’re proud to celebrate the re-election of Larry Krasner as Philadelphia’s District Attorney. The progressive hero secured his third Democratic primary win, winning over 60% of the vote and all but ensuring another four years of reform-focused leadership.

Why This Win Matters

Since taking office in 2018, Krasner has consistently used his position to pursue justice—not prosecution:

  • Fewer incarcerations, safer communities: Under his leadership, Philadelphia’s jail population has been slashed nearly in half, while crime rates continue to fall.
  • Prosecutorial reform in action: Krasner’s office has eliminated cash bail for many nonviolent offenses, dropped minor felony charges like marijuana possession, and aggressively prosecuted police misconduct.
  • Accountability through innovation: His DA’s office created a Conviction Integrity Unit that has exonerated dozens of innocent people. It also launched a unit to tackle quality-of-life issues—including prosecuting dumping of household waste and tires.

Standing Strong Against the Right-Wing Backlash

Krasner’s victory came despite targeted attacks from Republicans and former President Trump—and after surviving a failed impeachment attempt by state lawmakers.

His campaign drew strength from small-dollar donations and grassroots organizing. In his victory speech, Krasner proclaimed:

“They can come for Philly, but I’m not backing down.”

This Victory is a Win for Progressive Prosecution

While reform prosecutors in other cities have lost ground under conservative pressure, Krasner’s win—driven by strong support among Black voters and progressives—shows that people power still works. It’s a reminder that local organizing and community engagement can beat back authoritarian and punitive agendas.

What Comes Next?

Krasner will enter the general election unopposed—giving him the green light to keep building a more equitable, accountable justice system in Philadelphia.

This victory is a testament to all of us: when we organize, we win.

Congratulations, Larry Krasner. Keep leading the fight for real justice.

Historic Win in Arizona: Our Revolution Celebrates Adelita Grijalva

By AZ, Endorsement

We’re thrilled to congratulate Adelita Grijalva on her decisive win in Arizona’s 7th Congressional District Democratic primary — capturing over 60% of the vote in a crowded field. She now stands poised to make history in Congress this fall.

Why This Victory Matters

A Legacy Rooted in Service
Adelita is not new to public service — she’s a lifelong Tucson community leader. From two decades serving on the Tucson Unified School District Board to her term on the Pima County Board of Supervisors — including a term as the first Latina Board Chair — Adelita has consistently delivered on affordable housing, climate resilience, relentless education investment, and public safety.

Upholding a Family’s Progressive Legacy
She is succeeding her father, Rep. Raúl Grijalva, a legendary progressive force in Southern Arizona. Adelita’s win ensures the continuation of a values-driven, people-centered approach to representation. As she celebrated in her victory speech, “This is a victory not for me, but for our community and the progressive movement my dad started in Southern Arizona more than 50 years ago.”

A Movement Unites Behind Her
Adelita’s campaign drew broad support across the progressive spectrum — including endorsements from Senator Bernie Sanders, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Emily’s List, and the Working Families Party. Through grassroots grassroots efforts — 39,000 door knocks, 1,400 volunteers, and a vibrant “movimiento” — Adelita’s campaign embodied people-powered politics.

A Strong Road Ahead
Her primary win effectively locks in her general election victory in a deeply Democratic district. If successful, Adelita would become the first Latina from Arizona to serve in Congress, further diversifying and strengthening progressive leadership in the U.S. House.

What’s Next?

Adelita now heads into the special general election on September 23, where she’s expected to secure the seat and carry forward her vision of justice, equity, and opportunity for Southern Arizona.

This victory is a powerful reminder of what community-organized, progressive leadership can achieve. Congratulations, Adelita Grijalva — and onward to Congress!

When we organize, we win.

Progressive Justice Wins in Virginia: Our Revolution Celebrates Joshua Cole

By Endorsement, VA

Our Revolution is thrilled to congratulate Delegate Joshua Cole on his re-election to Virginia’s House of Delegates, representing District 65! Cole’s victory marks another triumph for grassroots-led progressives in the Commonwealth.

Why This Win Matters

Josh Cole is not just a name on the ballot — he’s a proven progressive champion. Raised in Fredericksburg and serving as a pastor, he’s deeply rooted in the communities he represents and has delivered real results on the issues that matter most.

  • Defending Reproductive Rights: Cole chaired the subcommittee on constitutional amendments, passing H.J. 1, which enshrines the right to personal reproductive decisions — including abortion, contraception, and prenatal care — as a constitutional amendment. This victory lays the groundwork for a critical ballot initiative next year.
  • Tackling Money in Politics: His HB 2165, which bans the use of campaign funds for personal expenses, passed both chambers—an important step toward reducing corruption in Virginia politics.
  • First-Gen, Grassroots Power: In 2023, Josh became one of the youngest and first Black delegates elected from the Fredericksburg region — and he earned that seat back in 2025 with a renewed mandate

A Larger Fight, A Deeper Movement

Cole’s win is part of a broader wave of progressive representation emerging across Virginia. His victory adds momentum to the expanding majority Democrats now hold in the House of Delegates — a critical base for advancing equity, justice, and democracy.

Josh’s leadership exemplifies what Our Revolution was built for: bold, people-centered candidates who lift up working families and hold power to account.

Congratulations, Delegate Joshua Cole! When we organize, we win. Stay tuned — we’re organizing to ensure Josh’s re-election victory translates into deep, lasting policies for the people of District 65.

Our Revolution Delivers 13,000 Petition Signatures to DNC in Support of Resolution to Curb Dark Money in Democratic Presidential Primaries

By Press Release

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, grassroots organizers with Our Revolution delivered 13,000 petition signatures to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters, urging committee members to adopt DNC Chair Ken Martin’s newly introduced resolution to curb the corrosive influence of unlimited corporate and dark money in the Democratic presidential primary process.

The resolution, set for a key vote at the DNC summer meeting on August 27th in Minneapolis, directs the DNC Committee on Reforms to identify “real, enforceable steps the DNC can take to eliminate unlimited corporate and dark money in its 2028 presidential primary process.”

“For too long, billionaires and corporate Super PACs have drowned out the voices of working people,” said Joseph Geevarghese, executive director of Our Revolution. “Democrats can’t claim to be the party of working people while letting dark money groups and corporate elites choose their presidential nominees. This resolution is about putting power back where it belongs—in the hands of voters, not billionaire donors.”

Our Revolution—the nation’s largest independent political organizing group founded by Senator Bernie Sanders—has been a leading force in the fight against big money in politics, working to get progressives into leadership roles inside the party, and mobilizing millions of working people to demand a more democratic, transparent, and people-powered party.

With thousands of grassroots voices now formally on record, Our Revolution is calling on the DNC to take this historic step to end the stranglehold of corporate and dark money and safeguard the integrity of the Democratic presidential primary process.

Our Revolution Executive Director Joseph Geevarghese is available for interviews to discuss the significance of the resolution and the broader grassroots movement to reform America’s broken campaign finance system. For interview requests, please contact: media@ourrevolution.com.

National Weekend of Action Targets Palantir and Peter Thiel’s Surveillance Empire

By Press Release

Grassroots protests in cities across the country to expose how Palantir profits from billions in taxpayer dollars while powering Trump’s authoritarian agenda.

Washington, DC  — This weekend, starting Friday, August 22Our Revolution, the nation’s largest grassroots progressive organization, will join with labor, immigrant rights, and community groups to launch a nationwide weekend of action exposing Palantir — the surveillance giant at the heart of Trump’s authoritarian project.

Actions will target Palantir offices and sites of power from San Francisco and Palo Alto to Washington, D.C., New York City, Denver, Los Angeles, and beyond — spotlighting how Peter Thiel’s Big Brother machine is looting public coffers, building a surveillance state, and weaponizing technology against immigrants, workers, and activists.

The Stop Palantir Weekend of Action begins Friday with high-visibility protests in San Francisco and Palo Alto (in partnership with Planet Over Profits and Worker Power USA) and continues on Saturday, August 23, with coordinated actions in Washington, D.C., New York City, Denver, Seattle, Los Angeles, Syracuse, Milford, OH and Escondido, CA.

The actions will expose how Palantir profits from billions in taxpayer dollars while powering ICE raids, predictive policing, military targeting, and mass digital surveillance. At the same time, Trump allies like JD Vance and “AI czar” David Sacks embrace Palantir executives at elite donor retreats, cementing a dangerous fusion of Big Tech and authoritarian politics.

“Palantir is not just another tech company. It is Peter Thiel’s Big Brother machine, designed to surveil, control, and divide — and funded by our tax dollars,” said Joseph Geevarghese, Executive Director of Our Revolution. “This is how oligarchs dismantle democracy: with pay-to-play contracts, AI-driven policing, and mass surveillance of immigrants, workers, and activists. We’re fighting back because our communities will not be laboratories for their authoritarian experiments.”

— Our Revolution Election Team

Victory: Aisha Braveboy

By Endorsement, MD

Prince George’s County made history — and Our Revolution members helped make it happen. Aisha Braveboy has been elected County Executive, and that’s a massive win for working people, not corporate power.

Aisha is the real deal. As State’s Attorney, she took on a broken criminal justice system, expanded diversion programs, and fought for fairness and transparency. She stood with our communities against corruption and refused to let the powerful play by their own rules.

Now, she’s bringing that same fearless leadership to the County Executive’s office — ready to:

  • Fight housing injustice and expand affordable homes.
  • Create union jobs and grow local businesses.
  • Fully fund public schools instead of padding developer profits.
  • Defend democracy and civil rights at every turn.

She didn’t get here by cozying up to oligarchs or taking billionaire checks. She got here because we had her back — knocking doors, making calls, and turning out the vote.

This is what people-powered politics looks like.
This is how we beat the establishment.

When we organize, we win!

DAVID SELIGMAN FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL

By CO, Endorsement

Our Revolution is proud to endorse David Seligman — a fearless progressive fighter for working people and justice for all.

As Executive Director of Towards Justice, David took on corporate giants and won: recovering stolen wages, breaking abusive non-compete agreements, protecting whistleblowers, and challenging workplace exploitation. He’s a proven champion for economic justice, civil rights, and democracy.

David will use the Attorney General’s office to:

  • Defend voting rights and reproductive freedom.
  • Hold big polluters accountable.
  • Investigate police misconduct.
  • Stop corporate profiteers like Palantir from violating our rights.

While Trump, Musk, and their billionaire allies try to weaponize government for the 1%, David will fight for the 99% — and win.

We’re all in for David Seligman. Let’s elect a people’s lawyer who will stand up to the powerful and deliver justice for all Coloradans.

When we organize, we win.

Our Revolution Backs DNC Resolution to Take on Dark Money in 2028 Democratic Presidential Primary

By Press Release

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Monday, DNC Chair Ken Martin introduced a significant resolution aimed at curbing the corrosive influence of unlimited corporate and dark money in the Democratic presidential primary process—a reform effort that, if adopted and implemented, could drastically reshape the future of Democratic politics.

The resolution, scheduled for a key vote at the Aug. 27th DNC summer meeting in Minneapolis, directs the DNC Committee on Reforms to promptly identify “real, enforceable steps the DNC can take to eliminate unlimited corporate and dark money in its 2028 presidential primary process.” It also calls on the committee to develop a detailed set of legislative proposals for the DNC to present to Democratic Congressional leadership to push for lasting change at the federal level.

“For the last 15 years, the disgraceful Citizens United ruling has unleashed a flood of spending from dark money groups and corporate Super PACs that has drowned out working people’s voices and sidelined the progressive candidates our party needs to challenge the corrupt billionaire class,” said Joseph Geevarghese, executive director of Our Revolution. “This resolution is a crucial step to ensure the Democratic presidential nominee is chosen by everyday people—not deep-pocketed donors and the special interests they serve. We urge every DNC member to rise to the moment, back this fight, and put power back where it belongs—in the hands of voters, not the billionaires.”

Our Revolution—the nation’s largest independent political organizing group—has been at the forefront of efforts to curb the power of big money in politics since its founding by Senator Bernie Sanders following his historic 2016 presidential primary campaign.

Our Revolution Executive Director Joseph Geevarghese is available for interviews to discuss the significance of the resolution and the broader grassroots movement to reform America’s broken campaign finance system. For interview requests, please contact: media@ourrevolution.com.
