OUR PROGRESSIVE PIPELINE IS DELIVERING

The political establishment is freaking out about the progressive winning streak our candidates are having across the country — and we’re just getting started.

Just this week, Fox News devoted airtime to attacking Our Revolution after airing clips from our National Organize-to-Win Call featuring candidates like Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, Cori Bush, Troy Jackson, and Rep. Ro Khanna. Their big "gotcha"? Our champions calling for

Medicare for All.

These victories and the right-wing backlash come as a result of a decade of organizing — building the bench, getting out the vote, and growing grassroots power from the bottom up.

At Our Revolution, we’re celebrating 10 years in the fight. We’ve helped elect more than 1,200 progressives from city councils to Congress — this could be our biggest election year YET.

Our Revolution has endorsed hundreds of candidates this election cycle and we’ve made over 3.7 MILLION voter contacts so far! As Executive Director Joseph Geevarghese told Newsweek, “This isn’t a sudden surge, it’s 10 years of work becoming visible.”

WE ARE FUNDED BY THE GRASSROOTS. PITCH IN $5 OR $10 A MONTH TO FUEL THIS FIGHT ALL THE WAY TO NOVEMBER.

Next up — critical primaries are fast approaching in Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, and other states — giving us a chance to elect the largest class of progressives in Our Revolution's history. But first - MAINE.

★ ★ ★

ALL EYES ON MAINE

Maine is on the frontlines as Democrats are racing to nominate a new nominee for U.S. Senate. Our Revolution is proudly backing Troy Jackson to carry the torch and the working class agenda he’s devoted his life to as a union leader and state senate president.

On our call, Troy spoke to the urgency of the moment and turned attention to the tragic loss of a young immigrant father and neighbor who was shot by ICE that very same day.

So much is at stake. That’s why Our Revolution organizers are mobilizing supporters across all 16 county meetings TODAY to elect delegates who will nominate Troy Jackson at the state convention next week. Not only is he the strongest champion for our values, he’s the strongest candidate to defeat Susan Collins and flip this seat!

Democrats won't win this critical race with another handpicked establishment candidate. We win by uniting behind a proven champion for worker rights, reproductive rights, paid family leave, expanded healthcare, and much more.

“This movement has always been bigger than one person,” Troy said on our call. “It’s about taking on a system rigged against working people. Solidarity isn’t just a word for me, it’s a lifestyle.”

That same spirit carried throughout this week’s National Organize-to-Win Call, where progressive leaders from across the country shared why the next few weeks could define the future of our movement.

CHIP IN ANY AMOUNT TO HELP US NOMINATE TROY JACKSON TO FLIP THIS SENATE SEAT IN MAINE!

THE MANY VS. THE MONEY IN MICHIGAN

Michigan’s open Senate race is one of the most closely watched races in the country. AIPAC and other outside groups have spent tens of millions trying to beat Dr. Abdul El-Sayed — but voters are hungry for real change.

“This race really is about the money versus the many.” Abdul said on our Monday call. “We want to get money out of politics, put money in your pocket, and pass Medicare for All.”

Our Revolution organizers have made tens of thousands of calls to turn out progressives to the polls — and we’re doubling down on our voter-to-voter outreach across the state in the lead-up to Election Day Aug. 4th.

SEN. ED MARKEY: FACING A CHALLENGE

Senator Ed Markey reminds us all that defeating MAGA isn't enough — we also have to defend the progressive leaders who have spent decades fighting for Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, labor rights, and economic justice.

“It's not just having Democrats in the United States Senate,” Markey said on our Monday Call. “It’s having progressive Democrats in the United States Senate.”

Markey is facing down a challenge from a corporate Democrat after years of bold public service in the Senate. He still leads by 5 points in most polls — and we will have his back as we work to send in reinforcements.

★ ★ ★

CORI BUSH: “THIS IS CORI 2.0”

After AIPAC and allied groups spent millions to defeat her, Cori Bush IS BACK and ready to take back her seat in Congress in Missouri’s 1st District.

She held NOTHING back on our organizing call Monday — and our movement is fired up to send her back to Capitol Hill. We’ve made 10,000 calls into her district and plan to make 14,000 before Election Day Aug. 4th (just around the corner!).

SIGN UP TO MAKE CALLS FOR CORI

Cori shouted out our organizers working on the ground with her campaign — folks like Keith Rose, who’s mobilizing voters at the doors and on the streets, including at the St. Louis Pride Parade last month!

She said she’s hearing from supporters who regularly tell her they voted because they got a text or a call from Our Revolution.

“Thank you all for making a difference,” she told our movement. “If you give me the next 17 days, I’ll give you the next two years. This is Cori 2.0 — we’re full of grit, courage, and ready to win.”

RO KHANNA: PEOPLE OVER PENTAGON

Fresh off his trip to the occupied West Bank, where he was detained by Israeli forces, Rep. Ro Khanna urged our audience on Monday to keep the focus where it belongs: on the people living through violence and injustice.

Ro also argued that the billions added to the Pentagon budget each year could instead provide universal childcare, affordable college, expanded Medicare, housing, and other investments that working families urgently need.

“We are winning,” he said, “because we stand for Medicare for All, taxing billionaire wealth, a living wage, and real union power.”

★ ★ ★

KAELA BERG: A LABOR LEADER FOR CONGRESS

Flight attendant, union leader, and Minnesota State Rep. Kaela Berg knows what it’s like to work two jobs and still do the math at the grocery store.

That's exactly why she's running for Congress.

In the State Legislature, Kaela successfully led an effort to ban captive audience meetings used to intimidate workers from organizing unions.

“Workers built this nation,” she said, “and they deserve to be in the halls of power making the decisions that affect our daily lives.”

★ ★ ★

FRANCESCA HONG:

Francesca Hong believes one of America's most important battleground states can once again become a laboratory for progressive change.

A restaurant owner, legislator, and proud single mom, Fran is running on an unapologetic working-class agenda that includes higher wages, fully funded public education, free childcare, taxing the ultra-rich, and standing up to corporate power.

Fran’s message to our movement was simple: When Democrats organize around the issues that matter most to people’s lives, they build winning coalitions.

If you can, chip in a donation of any amount to help ramp up our voter turnout operations to call, text, and knock doors in these key races!

BUILDING ON THIS MOMENTUM

Every candidate who joined this week’s call is part of something much bigger than a single election.

As Joseph told CNN Politics, “These wins aren't coming out of nowhere.” The victories we're seeing today aren’t part of some passing political trend. They’re the payoff from 10 years of grassroots organizing and movement-building.

“People are done with a government that answers to corporations instead of to them,” he said. “Progressives are winning — because our movement is working.”

Trump and MAGA are targeting our movement because we’re WINNING — and we won’t back down. And we’ll keep up the pressure to create a government that delivers for working families.

With critical primaries just around the corner, we’re ready to keep building. Let’s seize this chance to elect a record number of progressives into seats of power to FIGHT alongside us for transformative change.

When we organize, we win.

Our Revolution Rallies Behind Troy Jackson

Our Revolution Rallies Behind Troy Jackson to Replace Graham Platner on Maine Senate Ballot

With just days before Maine’s replacement deadline, Our Revolution is mobilizing behind former Maine Senate President Troy Jackson to ensure the people-first movement that won the Democratic primary isn’t replaced by the political establishment.

After withdrawing our endorsement of Graham Platner in light of the serious allegations against him, Our Revolution made two things clear.

First, the allegations are serious, and Platner should step aside.

Second, this is not an opening for Democratic insiders to handpick a replacement that ignores the will of Maine voters.

Mainers voted decisively for a bold progressive agenda: Medicare for All, a campaign free from corporate money, an end to endless wars, and a candidate who would stand with working people instead of powerful interests. That mandate deserves to be honored.

That’s why Our Revolution is rallying behind Troy Jackson to carry that movement forward.

A logger, union leader, and former President of the Maine State Senate, Troy has spent his life fighting for working people. He led Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaigns in Maine in both 2016 and 2020, and Bernie later endorsed Troy’s campaign for governor. Long before this Senate seat became available, Troy had built a record of standing with workers, unions, and rural communities across Maine.

Chip in a donation of any amount to help us nominate Troy Jackson to replace Platner on the Senate ballot in Maine!

As Our Revolution Executive Director Joseph Geevarghese said:

“Last night we made clear that Graham Platner should withdraw from Maine’s Senate race. The allegations against him are serious, and he must step aside. We also made something else clear: this is not the Democratic establishment’s opening to handpick a replacement.

“Maine’s progressives didn’t win the primary by a fluke or by a narrow margin. Working people voted for Medicare for All, for a Senate campaign free of corporate money, an end to forever wars, and for a candidate who would actually fight for them. That mandate doesn’t disappear because one candidate is gone.

“That is why we are rallying behind Troy Jackson. He has spent his life in the fight working people are asking for—not arriving to it because a seat opened up.

“We have days, not weeks, to make sure a real progressive is on this ballot. If we do not organize now, we risk watching the Democratic establishment hand Maine a corporate placeholder while the party that just got outvoted decides it knows better.

“This is bigger than one Senate seat. To take back the Senate, Democrats have to defeat Susan Collins, and they won’t do it by abandoning the coalition that already showed up once. Our Revolution is putting our full organizing machine behind Troy Jackson starting today.”

Our organizing machine is already moving.

With the replacement deadline rapidly approaching, we’re mobilizing our Citizen Action Team, activating volunteers, and organizing across Maine to ensure voters are represented by a candidate who reflects the agenda they overwhelmingly supported.

This fight extends far beyond one state.

Defeating Susan Collins is critical to winning back the Senate. But just as important is protecting the integrity of a movement built by ordinary people—not party insiders or corporate donors. Maine voters already spoke. They chose a people-first platform. Our Revolution is committed to making sure that platform remains on the ballot.

The urgency of this moment has already drawn national attention, with coverage from The New York Times, the Associated Press, The Guardian, Politico, The Hill, and other major outlets. The conversation isn’t simply about replacing one candidate—it’s about whether the Democratic Party will respect the will of primary voters or allow the establishment to override it.

Now is the time to take action. Can you donate $5, $10, or $27 to power our organizing work to nominate and elect Troy Jackson as the next Senator from Maine? Every dollar helps!

Together, we can ensure Maine Democrats have a nominee who will fight for working people, take on corporate power, and help build the progressive Senate majority our country needs.

When we organize, we win.

William Lawrence for Congress in MI-07

By ALL, Endorsement, MI

William Lawrence for Congress in MI-07

Our Revolution is proud to endorse William Lawrence for Congress in Michigan’s 7th Congressional District.

William is running a people-powered campaign centered on the needs of working families across Mid-Michigan.

Raised in East Lansing, William has spent his career organizing people to take on powerful interests and deliver real results.

As a co-founder of the Sunrise Movement, he helped build one of the nation’s most influential grassroots climate organizations — securing historic investments in clean energy and good-paying jobs, including hundreds of millions of dollars invested in Michigan’s 7th District.

William also helped found the Michigan Rent Is Too Damn High Coalition and the Mid-Michigan Tenant Resource Center, working to advance protections for renters and helping families avoid homelessness.

William’s campaign platform reflects the kind of bold leadership this moment demands. He is focused on lowering the cost of living by expanding affordable housing, protecting Social Security, guaranteeing healthcare for all, and standing up to corporate price gouging.

He is also calling for stronger environmental protections for Michigan’s water and farmland, greater accountability for polluters, and restoring trust in government through measures like banning stock trading by members of Congress and holding powerful interests accountable.

Throughout his campaign, William has emphasized that Washington should work for Mid-Michigan families—not billionaires. He has pledged to build a representative’s office that listens to constituents, shows up in every community, and fights for the people who have too often been left behind.

We’re proud to endorse William Lawrence for Congress and look forward to helping build the grassroots movement needed to send another fighter for working people to Washington.

When we organize, we win!

Nithya Raman for Mayor of Los Angeles

By ALL, CA, Endorsement

Nithya Raman for Mayor of Los Angeles

Nithya Raman has shown what progressive leadership looks like, and Our Revolution is proud to endorse her for Mayor of Los Angeles.

As a City Councilmember, Nithya has served as Chair of the Housing and Homelessness Committee — focused on tackling the crisis in LA while working to make city government more responsive to the people it serves.

Before running for office, Nithya spent years working alongside communities across Los Angeles to address homelessness and expand access to affordable housing. An urban planner with degrees from Harvard and MIT, she co-founded the SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition, bringing together volunteers to connect unhoused neighbors with housing, services, and support.

Nithya’s campaign is rooted in the belief that solving our biggest challenges requires both compassion and effective government. And she is clear that Angelenos deserve a city that delivers for them.

Her campaign is focused on addressing the housing affordability crisis by building more homes, making it easier to produce affordable housing, and ensuring that working families aren’t priced out of the communities they call home.

Los Angeles voters have repeatedly approved funding to address the crisis, and Nithya believes City Hall has a responsibility to ensure those investments produce measurable results—moving more people into permanent housing while making government more transparent and effective.

Throughout her time in office, Nithya has championed a vision of local government that listens to residents, invests in neighborhoods, and makes it easier—not harder—for people to access city services.

Those priorities reflect the values that have always driven Our Revolution: building power from the grassroots, making government accountable to ordinary people, and ensuring public institutions serve the public—not special interests.

At a time when too many politicians accept the status quo, Nithya continues to demonstrate that bold, people-powered leadership can deliver real change.

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Nithya Raman for Mayor of Los Angeles.

Together, we can continue building a government that works for working people, not the powerful—and prove once again that when grassroots movements organize, we win.

Connie Chan for Congress in CA-11

By ALL, CA, Endorsement

Connie Chan for Congress in CA-11

For too long, Washington has put the interests of wealthy corporations and well-connected insiders ahead of working people.

That’s why Our Revolution is proud to endorse Connie Chan for Congress in California’s 11th District.

Connie has built her career fighting for working families, affordable housing, strong public schools, neighborhood businesses, and immigrants. Throughout her time in public service, she has remained focused on making government work for everyday people—not the wealthy and well-connected.

As a San Francisco Supervisor, Connie has been a consistent advocate for working people, fighting to keep families in their neighborhoods, protect public services, and invest in affordable housing. Her campaign for Congress is built on the belief that every family deserves economic security, safe communities, and a government willing to take on the affordability crisis.

Connie knows firsthand the opportunities America can provide and has spent her life giving back to the community that welcomed her, her mother, and brother when they immigrated from Hong Kong in 1989.

Her campaign is rooted in ensuring that every child, worker, senior, and immigrant has the opportunity to succeed. She believes Congress must lower costs for families, expand affordable housing, protect Social Security and Medicare, strengthen public education, and defend immigrant communities.

Connie is also committed to making housing more affordable by securing federal investment to build more housing. She argues that relying solely on the private market has failed to address the housing crisis and believes government must play a stronger role in ensuring everyone has access to an affordable place to live.

Connie has made clear that democracy works best when elected leaders remain accountable to the people they serve. Her campaign is powered by neighbors, volunteers, labor allies, and community members who believe Congress should answer to working families—not corporate interests.

Connie represents the next generation of progressive leadership—grounded in community, committed to public service, and ready to fight for the people of California’s 11th District every single day.

We’re proud to endorse Connie Chan for Congress.

Together, we can continue building a Congress that puts people before profits, expands opportunity for working families, and delivers the bold progressive leadership this moment demands.

When we organize, we win.

Ed Markey for Re-Election to the US Senate

By ALL, Endorsement, MA

Ed Markey for Re-Election to the US Senate

Ed Markey is a national leader on energy, environmental protection and telecommunications policy, demonstrating his deep commitment to improving the lives of the people of Massachusetts and our country.

That’s why Our Revolution wants to send Ed back to the US Senate to continue serving alongside Bernie Sanders to defend our democracy and fight for working families.

Whether the issue is climate change, clean energy, safeguarding privacy, nuclear non-proliferation, investor protection, or preserving an open Internet that spurs competition and consumer choice, Ed defends our progressive values and holds the powerful elites accountable.

Experience Matters

Elected to the Senate after a lengthy and distinguished career in the US House, Ed brings his energy and experience to fight for the people of Massachusetts.

In the House and Senate, Ed has:

  • Co-sponsored the Medicare for All Act in the Senate
  • Co-authored the landmark Waxman-Markey bill
  • Lead the call to investigate the disastrous BP oil spill
  • Been instrumental in breaking up telecommunications monopolies
  • Introduced the Internet Freedom Preservation Act
  • Authored of some of the most important Wall Street reform laws since the Great Depression

At a time when many corporate Democrats are openly declaring war on progressives, Ed is committed to a Democratic Party that addresses climate change and preserves our environment, defends the rights of consumers while expanding opportunity, and advocating for a national single-payer healthcare system that guarantees comprehensive, affordable care to every American.

The Stakes in This Race

Massachusetts is facing critical challenges that demand bold and trusted leadership.

Throughout his tenure in Congress, Ed has focused on confronting the climate crisis, lowering the cost of housing and utilities, expanding access to healthcare, and protecting our communities.

Ed has secured hundreds of millions in direct federal investments to protect and support communities across Massachusetts— from Boston to Worcester to Springfield to the Cape and Islands. Through congressionally directed spending and key infrastructure legislation, he delivers vital resources directly to the Commonwealth’s municipalities.

Ed has delivered for his community, but this race is about so much more than that.

It’s about whether the Democratic Party will continue moving toward a bold, unapologetically progressive vision that takes on concentrated wealth and corporate power — or will the elites and corporate apologists drag our party back toward the policies that have failed working people for decades.

Ed Markey has taken a stand.

And Our Revolution is proud to stand with him.

When we organize, we win.
